What I love about this jacket: The overall style is great. Long enough to go over my bum. The belt just adds a nice touch. The lining on the collar that acts as a scarf is really nice and soft. The hood fits snug and the fur edging is removable. I love the cuffed sleeves to keep the air out. Pockets, pockets and more pockets who doesn't love pockets! What I don't love about this jacket: Even though the arms are lined, my arms are always cold in this jacket. It seems as though this super duper liner requires your body heat to keep you warm. So if you're not actively moving, the jacket won't warm up in order to keep the heat. Don't expect to throw this jacket on to get you warm like a snuggly blanket. It could be great for all season as long as you have another jacket or something warm under it when it's really cold outside but that's okay because I like to layer anyways.

I live in a warm climate so I don't have a ton of experience buying "serious" winter clothes, but I needed a better coat for traveling to snowy mountain areas. I'm really pleased with this coat! I wore it in the mountains when the temperature was around 15 degrees F, and with proper layers underneath I was really comfortable. I also wore this coat on a trip to Denmark in late November, where the weather was cool (40s F) and wet the entire time. I felt warm enough without having to layer too heavily underneath, and the coat kept me dry in the rain. I also like how lightweight this coat is, it's very convenient for travel and walking around a city. Design-wise, the coat is actually quite cute, especially with the belt. It's also got lots of pockets and helpful features like a 2-way zipper, which is great for those of us w/ hips to unzip a little bit from the bottom when sitting down. It has elastic inner cuffs around the wrists, which are great for keeping out the chill. I'm usually a size small (5'4", 135 lbs., US size 6), but I ended up getting this coat in a Medium to allow for more layering underneath. Overall, I love this coat and would strongly recommend it for anyone who needs an affordable but warm winter coat.

I specifically bought this for a rainy cold week in Paris. It delivered and then some. It fits true to size and is a very flattering cut which is further enhanced with the belt. It kept me warm and dry. Lots of pockets for gloves, hats, phones. The fur on the hood is removable. It was a very good buy for the money. I bought the flint grey but it was more of a light khaki. I still like it but not the color I expected. Would recommend very highly.

Came right in time for some really cold weather. I’m warm and feel cute in it. All the pockets. Interior pockets great during busy shopping days. Stash important items inside and leave the purse at home. Also weatherproof so you stay dry if you have wet weather.

This coat is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Kept me warm on a 7 degree day. The sleeves are a little long but I’m short, so I’m sure if you’re taller than 5’2 it’s perfect.

Love this coat! A number of pockets I can use while traveling. Waterproof, insulated & has a hood! Specifically purchased this for a trip next year to Scotland. I have a Prana coat that I use for my commute to work but it’s longer, heavier, & doesn’t have enough pockets. I need the pockets so I can use my coat as a purse. I don’t carry a purse while I’m out at night. I wanted the Malbec-color one but it only came in medium. One issue with Columbia is that they have a weird sizing. I usually wear a medium in coats, but I had to size up to a large. Columbia coats have a high-cut armhole. (If you’re a sewer, you know what I mean.). The medium sits right under my armpits, no chance of wearing a sweater with this jacket if I kept this size. Returned it for a large in Elk which now makes the length of the arms too long. For reference, I’m 5’1” and weigh 138, but I have a 38DDD chest and narrow hips. Everywhere else the coat is very roomy but at least it now zips up over my chest and I can wear a sweater under it. Another positive is that it has a zipper & snaps on the placket. No velcro, which is great! I hate Velcro on my jackets because it always catches on my scarves & if I leave the jacket unzipped, I have to look at the ugly square patches of Velcro that show.

I bought this for travel to the Netherlands at christmas. So so happy with my purchase. It is great for winter weather. I’m taking it to Boston and then Europe. This is so well made and the hat comes off as well. The insulation is great as well. Wearing it open when it was not as hot was great. The look is so clasic. Nice cut for women’s frame. I al 5’7 140 lbs. and it fits great with a little room if you were to wear something that is thicker. The best part for me is that I can wear a thin sweater or Henley and be warm outside but not hot inside. So adorable!
