I have one in gray I wear all the time in the cooler weather. When I saw this on sale, I bought it immediately. The color was as pictured and I received compliments. The pile is soft and not so long you feel like a stuffed toy. I bought my usual size in tops (16-18 or XL) and it fits comfortably over a blouse or T neck. I have washed it once (by itself, it did bleed, but did not shrink) and worn it several times before it got too warm. The pockets are nice and deep. It's ideal when driving some distance in fall or winter. I remove my coat and the vest keeps my core warm and leaves my arms unrestricted. If you like to wear fleece vests indoors and out, this is the one for you. The color of this vest is fantastic, get compliments every time I wear it. We keep a cool house in fall and winter and this vest is the perfect weight for comfort by itself or for layering under a fleece jacket. This vest is beautiful and fits well. The color is slightly lighter in person than it is in the picture, but I happen to like the "real" color better. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, as I bought it as late-Autumn running gear, but it feels as if it will be good for that purpose. If you're looking for something thicker to wear while you're standing outside in a cold wind (like at your kid's soccer game or something), it may not be warm enough. For the inexpensive price of $15, I was VERY impressed. 10/14 Update: I have used this vest to run, and it is perfect! It keeps me warm without making me feel hot. This is an item I will buy again and again! Very well made! This is really warm for us chilly gals and fits so well and looks really slimming. Runs a bit big and I usually wear a large but bought a medium which fits perfectly for me. I am 5'4" 130lbs. Really warm over a sweater for those winter days or even over a tank top during the spring. I find I wear this all year round except for super hot summer days. Thank you for a great product! Where are the restocks! Columbia is missing out on a lot of sales because they have not restocked the colors! I would have bought 4 more since I wrote this review had they had greens, reds and purples in stock! Sad for Columbia! ... show more

I got an M (130 lbs, 5'4"). Fits well. Warm and feels good. The wine red goes with many colors. There's a handy inside pocket. Washes well.

The product itself is fine. Has 2 zipper pockets as shown. Seems warm enough for a thin fleece vest. My only problem is as others have said the color is off. I bought a black vest with Orchid zipper but what I received was more of a dark gray. Definitely not black. Maybe the other colors are better but beware if you order one of the black colors. ... show more
