This is a nice jacket. It's very comfortable and should keep me plenty warm during the upcoming winter. It doesn't get too cold here in Arizona so this should be more than enough to keep me warm.

It's too warm where I live to wear both layers for now, but I wore each layer individually on a morning fishing trip with my kids. I like the easy, fit adjustment features of the weatherproof shell, and the sleeves are just the right for my disproportionately long arms. I can't say it enough, I really appreciate the ability to easily remove the light fleece layer to wear independently. Just a pair of zippers, 3 snap fasteners and presto chango, I'm going in for another round of product demos at Costco as my more patient, satiated twin. There's no doubt in my mind that this jacket can adequately handle a Bay Area winter. I wish there was a Velcro strip on the inside to attach the hood when not in use, so it won't occupy a pocket. Other than that, I really can't complain this versatile jacket.

The jacket was used, no labels, reeked of perfume or detergent, and had a tissue in the pocket. What ever happened to quality control Columbia? Has significantly diminished my trust in Amazon.

First, I ordered this jacket a size too large. I thought, with a sweater and shirt underneath, I would need a size larger than my normal. Nope, the size is pretty spot on. That said, it is a very nice jacket with so many features. It is very customizable. You can remove the fleece lining, remove the hood, making it a cooler weather jacket. Put them back in for colder days. There's plenty of inside pockets, zippered pockets on the outside, yet overall it is very lightweight. It has a heat reflector under the fleece lining to retain your body heat, which is very nice. A lot of thought went into the design of the product. It is an excellent jacket for all types of weather. Highly recommend it.
