Day 1 Brushed my teeth. Minty. Pleasant. Normal. I foolishly believed this was just another tube of “lies and peppermint.” Day 3 My coffee looked nervous. My red wine filed a restraining order. My dentist texted me: “Have you been seeing someone else?” Day 7 I smiled in the mirror and my bathroom lights turned off automatically because they were no longer needed. Day 10 My teeth achieved 4K Ultra HD resolution. Birds began landing near my mouth to navigate by reflection. I accidentally signaled a passing aircraft.
