**Dad Joke Face-Off – Funny Once, But Not Built to Last** I picked up *Dad Joke Face-Off* for a family game night, thinking it would be a hilarious way to see who could hold their laughter longest against some truly groan-worthy jokes. And for that first round, it delivered. The 600 jokes had us giggling, groaning, and occasionally rolling our eyes. It was a fun way to break the ice and have a laugh. But here’s the problem: after that first round, the novelty wears off *fast*. The jokes, while amusing at first, quickly become predictable once you’ve heard them. Replayability is where this game falls flat. Once everyone knows the punchlines, the challenge is gone, and the humor doesn’t hit the same way. Even switching up players didn’t help much—after the initial laughs, the jokes lose their punch (no pun intended). It’s also worth noting that some of the jokes feel repetitive or are just variations of the same theme, which didn’t help the situation. If you’re looking for a one-time hit for a party or family gathering, this game will definitely bring some laughs. But if you’re hoping for something that will stay fresh for multiple game nights, this might not be the best choice. Final verdict: **2 out of 5 stars.** It’s fun for a single round, but the lack of replay value makes it hard to justify as a long-term addition to your game shelf. This is a one and done game. The dad jokes were even worse than dad jokes and the game just drags on way too long. It's painful. We ended up cutting it short -- it would have been an all day marathon to get through it. It could be fun -- the rules need some fine tuning.
