This works! Other brands may look good but Ive found that the blade is not straight enough to get full coverage. Always skipping sections you have to repeat. This has complete coverage. I have been using quite a number of squeegees from different manufacturers. But I wasn’t happy with any of them. The blades typically started to separate from the squeegee body within a few months. My current one, a new unit, left water marks on the shower glass, requiring me to do a double take of the same areas. All of these squeegees came with non-replaceable blades. Admittedly these items are not built to last. With the blade breaking off from the main body of the squeegee, I had no choice but to throw it away, even though the squeegee was still good to use. Thus, adding more trash to landfills . So, I tried to find other products with replaceable blades. Initially I could not find any on Amazon.. Then a few days later, Amazon sent me a buy suggestion about this Amazon Basic squeegee with 2 spare replaceable blades. I immediately jumped at this and without thinking much, ordered 2 units, that came with 4 spare blades. The blades are very soft. I ran my fingers along the edge of the blade and noticed that there were some unevenness on the edge, probably due to packing. Nevertheless I gave it a try. This Amazon Basic squeegee amazes me, it wipes clean, without leaving water marks behind, I’m glad that Amazon made this quality item at affordable prices. I hope the blade will last for a few months, before needing replacement. I shall give an update by the end of the year. For now, I’m giving 4 ****. RECOMMENDED 👍

It does a good job on windshield in and out, one flawed the rubber tend to slide off just improvised it at the end it does the job.

This describes the Amazon Basics Squeegee without the handle. The silicone blade has a “T” profile at the edge that meets the glass. That edge is slightly irregular so with a swipe, there are gaps in the contact with the glass. If you press the blade hard against the glass you can get full contact. Without the perpendicular handle, that force is more difficult to apply. Anyway the tips of the T are fairly thick which also interferes with function. I got this to help spread glue on wood, I’ll trim the contact surface of the blade with a razor blade and see if that improves things. My regular shower squeegee is an Oxo with a silicone blade, that is awesome. The Oxo has a simple cut edge without the “T” profile. I also have an old “California Dryer” squeegee I use for the cars after washing. That also has a “T” surface profile but that “T” thins as one approaches the contact edge. It works well. I think the trouble with this Amazon basics model is that the “T” profile is too thick, doesn’t really thin as it reaches the contact edge, and it isn’t cut with a sheer cut edge. Can you clean glass with it? Yes, but it takes a lot of pressure of the blade against the glass. It’s harder to apply that pressure since this doesn’t have a good handle, the handle that it does have is a cutout that is parallel to the blade instead of a perpendicular handle. It’s inexpensive and not really worth returning. And I may be able to cut the “T” off and improve the contact edge. So: The T edge isn’t smooth, it’s probably the wrong profile for easily sweeping water from glass. The blade is flexible so it’s probably going to be difficult to shave to make an absolutely smooth edge for effective use on glass.

Perfect small squeegee. Every morning I will clean the car's side windows. I have many trees near my car. In North Carolina there is dew on windows, pollen or high humidity causing car windows needing a quick swipe to clean. This squeegee is a great size to get near and around side mirrors and window corners. is a flexible blade which will keep contact with the window. This makes a clean quick swipe across the surface. Well worth the small cost of always having an extra for any other quick surface cleaning. I am going to purchase a backup for my car and other needs. I use it on my 2013 Kia Sportage.

The size of the squeegee is just what I wanted. The 2 extra blades (3 total ) is a nice bonus. The foam wrap on the handle soaks up and holds water, which is a negative for me. Also, the balance is not quite as forward as it should be. I would prefer more weight toward the blade-end of the squeegee. Despite the negatives, I would highly recommend this squeegee to anyone who wants a very well functioning squeegee. It clears water completely and without any streaks. The price is also reasonable for a squeegee of this size and quality. PS: I plan on removing the foam and filling the slotted handle with silicone with some additional weights inside the front of the slot.
