Having owned Coleman items my entire life, I'm familiar with the brand and a lot of their offerings. Say what you will about their quality over the years, but I think they still put out budget friendly items that will last many years, when treated properly. This canopy is no exception. After unboxing and briefly glancing at the instructions (I'm a mid 30s male, you can't expect me to read them unless there's an issue), I attempted to set this up in our backyard by myself (under the stringent guidance of my wife, so there was a supervisor on site) and quite honestly, it was a breeze. We had been using an EZUP canopy for many years, but we're always on the hunt for upgrades or more lightweight options. I consider this canopy to be both of those. It does take a bit more effort than a standard EZ UP, but it's not that bad. Mainly, the canopy material itself needs to be placed on the frame separately, instead of being a 1 piece popup design. The frame is lightweight for its size and held up beautifully against mild/moderate wind with only 2 tent stakes installed. If we were to bring it to a beach or outside on a more windy day, I still think it would be just fine using all 4 legs stakes and tie down points. Once I through on the canopy skin itself, we were in love. It's got great coverage (13x13 model) and plenty of headroom. The legs raise and lower with a simple click of a button. So smooth even the adolescent nephews and nieces could raise it up and down with ease. We left it up in the backyard for a couple days and it held up nicely. The 1-person teardown technique wasn't my favorite, since you have to walk around and slowly walk-in the four corners over and over until the frame collapses back into its inert form. But I was still able to accomplish it without (much) complaining. It would definitely be beneficial to have a helper on setup and teardown, but not necessary to your success. The extra netted bag to hold your items off the ground and sun/wind wall shade are a nice touch, although I don't see myself using them too often. I like open tents with lots of breeze, but on a rainy day, I'm sure I'll be glad it was included in the kit. Overall, this canopy looks great and should be a noticeable upgrade to our beach and camping days for years to come.

This Coleman canopy is a breeze to set up and take down—perfect for the park, backyard, or tailgates. The side wall is a nice bonus for extra shade and privacy. Total win!

We got this mainly for tailgating at the local polo games and the occasional camping trip. First setup was very easy, more so than our previous pop-up canopy which we got here a few years back (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BNF7LM4). That one had a thinner metal frame and used more plastic than this one for the flex joints. One small issue we had with the Coleman was a sticky leg unlocking mechanism that resolved itself after a couple cycles of lifting/lowering. Once set up it was surprisingly sturdy and didn't try to take off even with some spicier gusts of wind. It does come with decent quality pegs for a more wind resistant set up. The included wheeled bag makes it easy to carry around and it might be one of the very few pop-ups that actually goes back in its bag with ease. That's a very important aspect for us because we don't have to waste a lot of time and energy to coax it back in its bag.

When I first saw this canopy made by Coleman, I thought it was going to be of quality. Well, the set up was easy, one person can do it, but it is lot easier with two people. The material however is substandard. I already see signs of tearing and I’ve only put it up twice. It is disappointing. I really can’t recommend this canopy.

I generally awesome and simple pop up. It's easy to use and acts as a great addition to my camping set. It packs down to a reasonable size and fits well in my SUV. The color is also super cute and unique, I like it a lot! I also love that it is PFA-free, which made me feel a lot more confident in my decision to get one!

So far I've used this twice at my nephew's outdoor events and for the longer events, it's been worth hauling it there and setting it up. It's fairly heavy but the wheeled storage bag is pretty awesome and even rolled fairly easily over the uneven grass fields; it's far preferable to carrying the bag. Setup is indeed very easy but takes me closer to 10 minutes rather than the 5 minute setup that's advertised. It did drizzle one time when we were using it and all of us sitting under it stayed dry but our main use is mainly to create shade and having the sidewall makes a huge difference. Build quality is generally very good but there isn't really anything that stands out as exceptional; it looks nice, the cloth parts feel fairly substantial and durable and the pole sections are very sturdy. It's just a nice all-around package that's easy to set up, does what it's supposed to do and has a surprising amount of uses if you're willing to drag it with you.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and how truly easily this popup tent goes up. It's not light though, this is a pretty heavy tent. I can carry it by myself but this is definitely a two person tent carrying job even if it barely takes one person to raise and lower the tent. The only thing that takes a little time is if I want to put up the tent spikes, if there's not any wind I don't bother and the tent stays up fine but even a little bit of wind kicks up and I'm staking this thing down. It stays down too with the included tent spikes and wires. Oh! I have to mention the side shade wall too. What a blessing. It lets me have the shade at my back in the morning and keeps the sun from blasting my eyes out in the evening because I can just put it down a little bit to block the top of the sky. I've gotten so much use out of this tent it's a real find.
