    • Charger cord and plug missing!
Bought it for my mom from Walmart when I was in town and she had power outage. The product works great, but there is no charger cord and plug included! So after an unfruitful call to Coleman call center, I found this one on Amazon. So, I returned product, this was cheaper and my mother gets it. Again no charger cord. Really?? I called AGAIN online, they didn't have a clue about product, it was a generic call center to handle broken product returns, send photo and info upload to link, etc etc. So I guess Coleman is banking on the fact that you will buy your own plug for it. It has one with a USB port, but most USB ports are facing the charger plug and there is another style of adapter for the end. It has a second port for an unusual adapter, and there were no matching ends, so either I have to buy one or get Coleman to send me one, and evidently it's an impossible task, or else Coleman is just racketeering and figure they could save thousands of dollars if they don't make them with power cords. Checked the box, not in the bottom compartment either. Expected more from Coleman which was for decades a well respected company. It would be a five star if they had the plug. I've wasted so much time trying to resolve this. That's why they were counting on me buying my own! ARGGGGGHHHH!!! ... show more

    • Great Improvement Over 4 D-Cell model
The new light switch is much easier to use than earlier models. Puts out more light too. Light weight and easy to charge. It replaced an earlier model. Its battery box cover latch broke.

Bought for power outages. They happen to often. I didn’t want to deal with batteries and this fit the bill. I keep it charged and ready for the next time it’s needed. I will also use out on the porch at night during the summer.
