I rarely write product reviews (although I should since I use them as part of my selection process), but this lantern right here?? VERY necessary! And it's going to be a long one but worth every minute and word. I've already bought this 2 pack Ezorkas lantern set TWICE for emergencies and bad weather outages, and am about to buy a third set. And no- the 2nd was not a replacement for ones that "burnt out". As EXCELLENT as they are, I doubt they CAN burn out at this point. The lanterns I initially bought have been going strong since 2020/21. I bought my parents a set because they kept telling me how concerned they were about more frequent outages caused by intense storms. They're in love and asked me to get another them another set...or 2. I won't even address value for money because the price point was great (pre-fall and winter) and less than even mini flashlights at my Target. And then you get TWO? Can't be outdone. Brightness: They're super bright- the small flashlight and lantern when extended literally light up my condo, and the beacon/ emergency flasher and blinker wouldn't ever be overlooked regardless of how dark or foggy the area. My dad jokes that he may as well get off the electric grid lol. Convenience and Safety: Not only do these lanterns mean I don't need to use dangerous candles or propane in case of an emergency, they are also rechargeable so I never have to worry about rushing to the store for batteries after a storm warning is issued or even then dying when I may still need the lantern. The fact that I can just plug it into a USB port is PERFECTION as I can recharge the lantern almost anywhere including in my car. The magnets on the base also mean I can stick it to any metal surface and leave my hands free. All the above are big parts of why I travel with 1 of these lanterns in my car at all times. Which brings me to... Compact and Sleek: As much as it has going on (and it's A LOT), these lanterns aren't bulky at all- they're small but mighty! I mean even the on/off for the main lantern area just requires sliding the body to extend/ close. Plus, with a handle that happens to fit over my wrist, I don't risk it slipping or falling when I'm using it. All the integrated design and additional features are amazing! Longevity: I can't even tell you how long the light stays on when fully charged because they have never gone out on me! Everrr. I had an outage one night, so I woke up and turned on one of these on then went back to bed. The beauty of not using a flame like with candles or battery-powered lights right?! When I got up several hours later, the lantern was still as brilliant as the sun and the lights were back on. We're talking 5+ hours consistently and I have only charged them the one time after I got them. I was REALLY impressed. Well Made: Last, but certainly not least, the lanterns are sturdy and they WORK and they work very, very well right out the box. When I first ordered a pair, I had some doubts as I couldn't imagine getting one good lantern much less 2 for the price. I figured if they were defective I would just return them. Boy was I glad to be wrong! 4 lanterns, 0 defects. Winning! Don't even "think about it" re purchasing. Add to cart. Proceed to checkout. Those are the only things you need to know. These little guys don't cost much but they do EXACTLY what I want. I like that I can pull the top up and have a classic lantern style light [bright too!] or use the flashlight mode on the front. I took these camping and they did just great! You can hang these easily inside a tent or inside a vehicle without much hassle. These will be handy in case the power ever goes out in my house :) I highly encourage you to buy these!

These lights are well built, especially at the price, and quite bright. The flashlight and strobes are a nice touch. My ONLY suggestion to make them better: add a dimmer to the main (lantern) light. I know, you can collapse the lantern to keep more or less of the light in, but it's still drawing 3 watts and draining the battery - from the instructions I gather it will run that light for 4 hours. 1 watt would be plenty inside a small tent or in a bathroom at night, and imagine how long a nightlight setting would last!
