I rarely write product reviews (although I should since I use them as part of my selection process), but this lantern right here?? VERY necessary! And it's going to be a long one but worth every minute and word. I've already bought this 2 pack Ezorkas lantern set TWICE for emergencies and bad weather outages, and am about to buy a third set. And no- the 2nd was not a replacement for ones that "burnt out". As EXCELLENT as they are, I doubt they CAN burn out at this point. The lanterns I initially bought have been going strong since 2020/21. I bought my parents a set because they kept telling me how concerned they were about more frequent outages caused by intense storms. They're in love and asked me to get another them another set...or 2. I won't even address value for money because the price point was great (pre-fall and winter) and less than even mini flashlights at my Target. And then you get TWO? Can't be outdone. Brightness: They're super bright- the small flashlight and lantern when extended literally light up my condo, and the beacon/ emergency flasher and blinker wouldn't ever be overlooked regardless of how dark or foggy the area. My dad jokes that he may as well get off the electric grid lol. Convenience and Safety: Not only do these lanterns mean I don't need to use dangerous candles or propane in case of an emergency, they are also rechargeable so I never have to worry about rushing to the store for batteries after a storm warning is issued or even then dying when I may still need the lantern. The fact that I can just plug it into a USB port is PERFECTION as I can recharge the lantern almost anywhere including in my car. The magnets on the base also mean I can stick it to any metal surface and leave my hands free. All the above are big parts of why I travel with 1 of these lanterns in my car at all times. Which brings me to... Compact and Sleek: As much as it has going on (and it's A LOT), these lanterns aren't bulky at all- they're small but mighty! I mean even the on/off for the main lantern area just requires sliding the body to extend/ close. Plus, with a handle that happens to fit over my wrist, I don't risk it slipping or falling when I'm using it. All the integrated design and additional features are amazing! Longevity: I can't even tell you how long the light stays on when fully charged because they have never gone out on me! Everrr. I had an outage one night, so I woke up and turned on one of these on then went back to bed. The beauty of not using a flame like with candles or battery-powered lights right?! When I got up several hours later, the lantern was still as brilliant as the sun and the lights were back on. We're talking 5+ hours consistently and I have only charged them the one time after I got them. I was REALLY impressed. Well Made: Last, but certainly not least, the lanterns are sturdy and they WORK and they work very, very well right out the box. When I first ordered a pair, I had some doubts as I couldn't imagine getting one good lantern much less 2 for the price. I figured if they were defective I would just return them. Boy was I glad to be wrong! 4 lanterns, 0 defects. Winning! Don't even "think about it" re purchasing. Add to cart. Proceed to checkout. Those are the only things you need to know. Every light aboard is very bright. The internal battery lasts eight hours on the 'bright' setting. The pair of lanterns is well-made, well-designed, and a large-pocket companion. There are multiple ways to hang the lanterns to accommodate any task at hand. Great for camping, emergency power outages, or a look around the empire. Install batteries if the internal battery dies - cool.

These lanterns are very handy, especially because they have batteries that are rechargeable, so no need to keep buying batteries over and over and then running out at the worst time. They last a long time on a full charge. They have many uses at home, when the power goes out, but they are especially useful on camping trips and nighttime hiking. The red light option can also be used as a warning light in case there is a hazard. They are very bright and do the job. They are small and compact and just the right size. The price can’t be beat either.

These camp lights are in top 5 items I have ever purchased on amazon.bi purchased these 5 yrs ago and they still work as good today as they did 5 yrs ago! They charge well fairly quick and last @ 8 hours someti.e longer depending on light u use most. The are so handy being able to adjust intensity of lantern light. They have magnets for hands free work in dark areas and also offer a flash light option. They even have various ways to recharge. They are light, work in rain and compact for easy storage in backpack. I use thes lights for everything at home or camping I even keep one In car for emergency having a Red flashing light and also a sos flashing red light. These are truly handy for home ,camping, and car.

Went on a four day camping trip with these two lights as my primary night light source. Sun didn't really go down until about 8:30 so we didn't really use them much at night (we're in bed before 9:30). But for playing some games and reading, one hung nicely from the top of the tent and illuminated the whole area, while we used the second for bathroom runs. The littlest of our clan liked how he only had to pull it down (as we hung it from the peak of the tent) to turn it on in the dark instead of fumbling for a button. The pull apart function is very handy. They are relatively small, a bit like a fat can of soup, but they are very very light, so it didn't even change the shape of the roof of the tent as it hung. Where it really showed how bright and useful it is was when we moved camp before sunrise. With these two light illuminating the area, we were able to pack up the tent, the tarp, and breakfast stuff from the site with ease in total dark (it was at a national park with "Dark Skies" principals in place...so no lights at all). I placed one on the picnic table and hung one from the tailgate of the van and we had plenty of light to pack up our whole site. We used them for about four hours total and never had to recharge them. I liked also how you could "crack" the light to just allow a little illumination, or open it all the way for full power. The flashing red warning light is also very handy in case of a break down. You can put them behind your car like the old road flares. I'm keeping them in my car just for that purpose. So...I have used them once and they worked brilliantly. I'd give brightness five starts except for the fact that the "flashlight" function is a little too spread out and doesn't project very far. I'd not use these as primary flashlights, but as area lights for this reason. Would recommend for small lightweight light sources.
