I wanted this fan for camping and when we go to the beach. After reading my reviews on different fans, I decided this was going to be my Best Buy. Once the product arrived, I was not disappointed. This fan is lightweight and built with quality materials. It was easy to remove the top to access the battery compartment. Put in two D cell batteries, and you’re all set. The different settings on the fan are a great feature as well as the light. The hook makes it great to hang from the center of the tent. This fan puts out a decent amount of cool air. The light definitely comes in handy when it is super dark and you’re trying to find something or simply get in and out of the tent without tripping over something. I have not used it enough yet to know how long the batteries will last but it’s easy enough to carry a spare set whether you were camping out at the beach or simply relaxing somewhere. This fan is set at a great price point and performs wonderfully. This lantern is what I've been looking for for years. There are many products out there that are similar but don't quite have it all together. This one is the perfect combination of all the features one needs from a device you'll be relying on in the middle of the woods. The LED light can be super bright or make a nice nightlight. The fan is powerful enough to keep the air in my 10-person tent from getting stagnant. But what I truly love about the device is the thought that went into its shape. It can easily be hung from a loop at the top of most tents. Once it's hung, it's light and fan are easy to turn on or off. The light illuminates a large area, making it feel like indoor ceiling lighting. Meanwhile, the fan is essentially a portable ceiling fan, making things more comfortable. The only thing missing is a rechargeable feature. Batteries are fine, but they can die at the worst time. A rechargeable battery option would make great backup power and could be charged in a car.     • Weekend camping!!
We bought 2 of these fans for our camping trip yes they last all night but if you’re staying for 2 nights you’ll need to take an extra pair of batteries to switch them out. I like that we can move and adjust the light as you see fit. The lighting is pretty good as well we had a 10 person tent and it lit it up pretty well. It’s the fan part works alot better than I thought not the best I’ve ever had but not bad. I’m more than likely gonna use these fans for other things like festivals theme parks and any other even that involves going out but I probably wouldn’t use it as camping not that it’s a hassle to change the batteries but it’s just something less to pack yk. I’d give it a 5 star if we didn’t have to change the battery life after a night of use and it had a warm light setting but overall it’s really not a bad buy for the price forsure! I’d absolutely recommend it to a friend tho. ... show more

    • Not charging brand new out of box
Purchased this 2 years ago. Just took it out of the box and charged it. Charging indicator wasn't blinking, left it alone and came back to it a couple hours later. Light was blinking and charging. Fully charged and works great ! Have not tried the misting feature yet but def will when I fire up the Blackstone this weekend ... show more

Used for a whole weekend on original set of batteries. I bought two for my pickup bed tent and they worked well with 70 degree nights.
