It's an OK cold air intake. Good: very easy to install. All the pieces fit my truck fine(maf, coupler,etc). It's heavy and thick. Bracket was equally thick and solid. Comes with everything you need to install. BAD: The filter didn't fit the unit. The unit opening was just under 4" the filter opening was 3 1/4". If I hadn't put everything together before I would've been in the middle of my install and SOL. Lucky my truck was getting fixed and I brought my CAI to the shop and he gave me a k&n filter that fit. Extremely upset about that as I have to get buy a new one for proper air flow. The hose that comes with it you will have to cut about 2" off(not a big deal..as that is pretty common on all of these), then it fits fine. No directions but if you go on YouTube you can see how to install(very easy.. basic tools and simple skills will suffice). All in all it's about what I expected, nothing fancy but usable. I'll be upgrading soon, just using this because it's better than the oem. If you buy this don't expect super gains out of it but DO expect for there to be some minor issues with varying pieces. I went with 4stars cause it does look good, it functions as it should and the price is reasonable(even though i have to spend an extra $50 to get a proper filter... would be nice if yall sent the correct one since i did pay for it) , but I probably should've went 3 stars. ... show more

This intake works great. But it does not come with instructions. And the hardware that came with it was way too short to get the nut on the bolt. So I just bought a bolt, lock washer and clinch nut from Napa. That’s the only reason for 3 stars and not 5.

Well to start the color isn’t even what they have as their ad. Way off from the red in the picture. It is so poorly made. Which I thought it would be bad being a 100 dollar intake. But it is really bad. Terrible welds, metal shavings inside the intake, poor quality filter. I would advise buying something better. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone ... show more
