Description

Feel The Power Open up the air flow into your engine and feel the power. Our air intake kit removes restrictions and lowers air intake temperatures, helping your engine make more power. You’ll also notice better throttle response and hear the engine breathe better too. Premium Performance We make all our Elite Series air intakes in the USA, using only premium materials. You won’t find any cheap plastic parts in our intake kits; we build our kits with thermally insulated aluminum. We use aluminum because it’s strong, lightweight, and doesn’t get heat soaked like plastic. Let The Engine Breathe An air intake kit is only as good as its filter, which is why we include an Elite Filtration High Performance filter in every kit. Made in the USA, Elite Filtration air filters use an OEM grade filter media that captures more than 99% of particulates. And because Elite Filtration air filters are washable, you won’t have to buy pricey replacement filters every few thousand miles. Easy DIY Installation Installing our cold air intake kit is easy. We’ve designed our kit to install in about 30 minutes using only basic hand tools. There’s no drilling or modification required, and all the hardware and parts you need are included. We also provide detailed installation instructions, and many of our kits have installation videos too. It’s Time For An Upgrade Factory engine air intakes are designed to be quiet and cheap, so they’re made of thick plastic. When plastic gets hot, it stays hot, increasing air intake temperatures. Replacing your plastic air intake with a thermally insulated aluminum air intake is a big improvement. After the upgrade, your engine will breathe cooler air and make more power. It will sound better and respond better too.

    • Increased power/mpg!
First off, I LOVE THIS INTAKE! I have a 2011 Camaro 2ss and I wanted a little more umph out of my engine. After doing tons and tons of research I finally concluded on the Cold Air Inductions intake. I have heard and that they increase horsepower the most and look great under the hood. I recieved the intake in a very timely manner. Inside the box, everything was organized with extremely simple to read instructions. Installation took about 30 minutes only because I took my time. It would normally take less time. I absolutely love the glass top it has on it. Being able to see the filter without taking anything apart makes things extremely simple when wanting to know if it needs to be cleaned. It was nice the filter came pre-oiled as well! The test: Starting my car up, it sounds the same. but revving you can hear the engine lightly sucking air. When driving, when I get on it, it wakes the beast up! I can hear the engine roar and my butt dyno approves the horsepower increase! Also noticed about a 1mpg increase after driving with time. I have had it on my car about 2k miles and don't regret the purchase at all! ... show more

    • Great look under the hood.
This is the second one I’ve purchased. High quality product. Easy install.

    • Great throttle response improvement
First thing I noticed was how much better the response was when I hit the gas. I didn't think CAI's created a noticeable response but it sure did for me. As for HP, unless your adding 50+ HP, I'm not going to notice it. Was easy to install (just make sure when screwing the top back on that you don't try to screw it on like a normal screw, it only needs a little turn). Didn't notice a big sound difference. Overall happy with the CAI. ... show more

    • Significant improvement in torque and throttle response.
Love this product. It was very easy to install and looks great under the hood. Very detailed and specific instructions for my vehicle. A beginner should have no problem with the installation. I'm sure there was increased horsepower but I'm a fan of the low end torque and this product definitely delivers. Major improvement in throttle response. You can literally hear the engine inhaling massive amounts of air when you romp down on the throttle. Very satisfied customer in function, aesthetics and quality of this product. ... show more

    • Nice fit and finish, well made easy to install
Review Image by Shawn K.
Nice quality CAI kit - fit, finish, install and closed lid with full view means no need to worry about under hood seal but the look of an open air cleaner. Also coated aluminum tube versus plastic of most competitors.
