Nice heavy chairs that were easy to put together and are stable chairs. Comfortable to sit in though some may prefer cushions. They are appealing to the eye and fit nicely in my dining room. But the wood gets knicked easily and that is my only complaint. Great value for the money.

Chair snapped after less than 2 months of normal usage while a child was sitting in it. Amazon would not honor the warranty. The seller did not respond to emails.

Before I bought these, I read on here some of the reviews and they said the chairs were cheap and not very heavy, I don’t know if they bought a different chair than I did, but these chairs are awesome, I’ve been buying wooden chairs for 50 years and these chairs are exactly what I wanted. The backs are not too tall. The seats are wide and they’re very sturdy and they’re not too heavy on the medium side, but they’re heavy enough, the big chairs which I’ve had before are too heavy to just move around all the time, especially for kids, but these chairs are exactly what I wanted. They are perfect. They’re pretty. They came in a well packaged box. No scratches all the parts were there. They were really easy to put together if you’re looking for a nice black chair to go with your dining room table I highly recommend these. They are beautiful. ... show more
