    • COLAMY Chairs: A comfortable set of chairs that just need a few additional high-quality features
The COLAMY Wooden Dining Chairs Set of two are particularly good chairs. The folks at COLAMY made them using a reasonable grade of wood with a lightly applied stain. These are four star chairs, not because there is anything wrong with them – I am just reserving five stars for chairs that are made of high-quality solid wood or wood veneer that uses dovetail construction. The COLAMY chairs are wonderfully comfortable. I am six feet tall, and I weigh about 215 pounds. The COLAMY chairs set high enough to the point where my feet are almost off the ground. The seating height and the back cushion actually improved my posture while seated. The arm rests are not padded but their height combined with the seating height meant there was reduced weight on my forearms. The assembly is straightforward except I did make a mistake and screwed a longer screw into the hole that attached the seat to the back. This action lead to the screw punching a hole in the rear of the seatback. (I did not remove a point for this matter.) The COLAMY folks printed the directions in the tiniest font size that anyone could possibly use, plus they printed the secondary level of directions in a nearly unreadable orange color. Just remember, one should use the shortest screw first. One should insert the four longest screws next. Remembering these two points will ease the assembly process. My packaging was missing a variety of washers however I just went to my case that has orphan screws, bolts, and dowels from years of assembling furniture, and I was able to locate acceptable replacements. (I did not remove a point for missing components.) I will not buy the COLAMY chairs again, even though the COLAMY folks reduced the price point, I will seek a chair that uses higher quality wood and other finishes. ... show more

Bought these chairs set of 6 for a dining table I bought separately and the chairs are so strong, sturdy and nice looking. I am so please with this purchase and I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for affordable modern chairs. I know they're going to last a very long time.
