My mom, 79, really likes this chair. It’s soft, swivels smoothly, and has enough firmness that she can push out of it. It’s become her go-to morning-coffee watch-the-sunrise chair. Easy to assemble. I like that it was delivered right to her door in two days. Thanks Amazon!

The media could not be loaded. This swivel arm chair is way more comfortable than I expected! It has a pretty deep and wide seat that makes it perfect to curl up in read a good book or just relax. The pillow back cushion is soft and velcro to the back of the chair to prevent sliding (and should make cleaning a breeze!). The metal base swivels smoothly both with and without weight in the chair. I love the soft, yet durable, texture of the fabric. The color is a very soft creamy white that would work well with most decor and most definitely kid and cat approved for comfort! The chair itself came in multiple large parts that required some assembly. All of the assembly hardware was included along with an Allen wrench. Instructions were fairly clear and easy to follow. I did struggle to get the holes on one side of the arms to line up with the base just right but eventually got it secured. Once I got that part to work out, the rest of the assembly was easy. ... show more

I'm an efficiency expert by trade. When I see things that are needlessly difficult, it makes my head hurt. Your experience may vary, depending on your sensitivity. Pros - Beautiful chair. Removable covers. Comfortable. Fabric is gorgeously textured. Cons - The choices made for assembly. I would put money on the fact that whoever designed this did not attempt to assemble it. - There is a hammock under the cushion support in the seat for...something? The placement/size of the hammock should be 1/4" smaller on each side. Why, you ask? Because the Allen wrench catches on it, and it will tear. Ask me how I know. - All of the holes are too close to the foot or back of the chair to be able to turn the Allen wrench completely while using the short side of the wrench. So use the long end, you say. Hahaha, nope, the holes are not drilled sufficiently to be able to turn the wrench with ease. You need the leverage from using the short end. - Because of the placement of the holes, and the insufficient drilling, one must repeatedly disengage and re-engage the wrench with the screw. This multiplies the potential to strip the screw exponentially. - ALL of these issues could have been solved by sending an Allen wrench with a T-top. Simple, easy fix to alleviate a ton of irritation. Charge $5 more and send an Allen with a T. Let me be clear - there are only 10 screws total. Should've taken a hot second to put together. Instead, it was an hour of cussing this chair and the person who designed it. I understand that the holes need to be placed in specific areas in order to maintain the integrity of the chair. Fully support that. Just work the efficiency fix into the assembly. Bottom line - the chair is lovely. Very pleased with the look and feel of it. Putting it together was needlessly difficult. ... show more
