I wish they just sold just the eye pin screw, because they're the sturdiest I've tried so far. Sure, I had about 6 that broke. But I got the hang of it and had no further incidents. And it was a heck of a lot better than having 20 break in a row! I had that happen with another brand. Here are some tricks I used. The bit on the hand drill does in fact push in... I knew I only needed the one bit. ANDDDD, I have 2 others, plus a dremel...so I just glued it using E600. Then tightened... it hasn't budged. For the pin screws, make sure to drill as far down as you can. The harder the resin cures, the more resistance you'll have. It's only natural it will crack if you keep spinning!!! So keep drilling, or, stop when you see that you can't tighten with just your fingers alone. Test it after each spin. For my resin pieces that were a little softer, it screws right in. ... show more

I really enjoyed using this kit to create earrings from pins pins are made out of metal I thought I could drill through the pens with the tool that came in the set I could not however it was a great set loved everything that came with it and may purchase one in the future.

I purchased this to drill into resin jewelry I was making and I found the drill bits kept sinking into the drill over and over no matter how tightly I tightened. Maybe for softer materials it would work better

As you can see by my picture I am attempting to put the little ihooks on small charms that my granddaughter has. I’ve worked on three charms, and have broken four i hooks trying to screw them in. On one that broke now has a sharp point, that I can’t get out, so I can’t use the charm. The drill could be easier to use. Hoping I don’t have any other problems we will see. The pliers are fine but the drill bits are useless. I tried to use three different sizes and they either bent or just broke in half immediately.
