The medium fit perfectly. I was a size 6 in jeans typically. It does roll up too high like most things but I'm able to keep it just below my bra, or tuck my bra over it. As of 2022 I had a tummy tuck and I'm still wearing the one I bought in 2016 for after-surgery care. I was originally wearing a medical binder but after a month I got to switch to the Spanx. I've been wearing and washing it daily and it's held up great. It's been nice during the summer so although it is a second layer under a dress or shirt/jeans, it's easily the lightest version you're going to find. I returned this immediately. There is no way that this shapewear would work. The top of the panties do not stay in place, it just rolls down to make the situation worse!

I've had this panty/spanx for well over 6 months now. So let's get down to it. It's well, breathable. Don't expect to be able to twerk in them but they are not restrictive. Washes well, retains elasticity, works well with other clothing. However, - tends to roll down at the top after constant use and during a long days wear. - does not play well when you go out to try on clothing - does not like to be adjusted often - will dig into thigh cuts over time - makes the transition between thigh and stomach look questionable. Overall point. Don't wear under form fitting or body con clothing. Not great for all day wear or more than 8 hrs. Breathable, won't make you hot. I was replacing my old spanx with this one but have to return it. The fit was fine but the top refused to not roll down! This never happens with my old spanx! Fabric has changed also-usual to be smoother under clothing. But the rolling is a deal breaker.
