Was worried after reading the reviews on putting this together but I found it to be very good directions and the hardware was marked better than anything I’ve put together I will say you will want to use a ratchet and sockets along with the provided tools it helps it go together a little faster I would definitely buy this basketball hoop again ... show more

My two 8-year-old granddaughters wanted a basketball hoop for Christmas. They are having a great time with it. My son likes the design, because the hoop can be raised/lowered with a hand crank. Everybody's happy!

    • Nightmarish Assembly

Beware! Assembly instructions may as well have been written in Mandarin Chinese, and the Assembly Video is no better! The only thing they got correct, is that assembling the hoop is a MINIMUM 2 person, or more task, unless Assembler #2 is from the Army Corps of Engineers. What could have been a 2 Hour project, turned into a 10 Hour task, with having to disassemble the nearly completed project not once but TWICE due to the lack of photos and the vagueness of the so-called ‘Instructions’! And, to add to the hilarity, more than twice the necessary hardware included. Have your own tools at hand, because the included wrenches aren’t worth a damn. I haven’t yet attached the LED Lights yet. That will be for another day. At the moment, I am still taking ALLEVE after spending all of yesterday twisted like a contortionist doing the basic assembly. Overall, it is a solid unit, and should provide years of fun, but in retrospect, I probably should have stuffed everything back in the shipping box and sent it back to Amazon! ... show more

I've had it for about a year. It's been great. There are some really minor things I don't like. Like the bolts are starting to rust because they are set down in plastic that fills up every time it rains. But it has not affected the usability. Very nice goal for the money.
