This cup warmer is great at keeping my coffee or tea warm while at my craft desk. I love the 3 temp choices, it allows you to turn it down as your cup empties so the contents don't get too hot or scorch. I use a ceramic mug that is narrower at the bottom and does have a little ridge but it still works! (this was my main concern while deciding to purchase) I also love the automatic shut off because as I get busy I tend to forget about my coffee sitting there until I take a swig of cold coffee. I do think that 6,8,10 and up to 12 hours is a bit much LOL. 2 or 4 hours would suffice. Now for the main reason for one star off. The underneath of the unit doesn't seem to have adequate air flow and it does get very very hot under there when on the highest heat setting. I have a cutting mat on part of my desk and it warped that. I have a plexiglass protective covering under my mat and it has warped that. I had put a silicone pot holder under it and it still warped the plexiglass. No way would I put this on a nice wooden desk or other furniture.

I am very happy with this beverage warming plate. I love that it plugs into a 110volt outlet, and not a low output USB port. The Auto-shutdown feature that can be set in 2 hour increments from 2 to 12 hours is great for the work day. With the correct beverage mug, the highest temperature setting is too hot for me, but available if I need it. Also works to rewarm a cooled down beverage that sat somewhere else for a while. I mentioned a few times in this review about using the correct mug with this warmer... well, I have found it here on Amazon. Check out the COSORI Stainless Steel Mug set of 2. These mugs can burn your lips if you fill them all the way up, due to them being made of steel, but they are 14 or 17oz mugs and I am only brewing 6 or 8oz coffees in them from a Keurig machine, so I haven't experienced the lip of the mugs getting hot.

I wanted a new warmer that would accommodate a larger mug than my old warmer did. This worked for me. It is easy to turn on and adjust temp. However, it does have to go to the highest setting (176) to keep my tea warm enough for me. It seems well thought out and the silicone cover is nice if you need to use it on a desk where you are working. Happy with purchase.

I am impressed so far with this product. It has 3 temp settings which I find very useful because I'm a student who is constantly on my computer and always reaching for my coffee and expecting it to be hot. This product does the job. I recommend it!

With a choice of three temperatures, my tea or coffee stays just the perfect temperature. I have tried several desk or tabletop mug warmers over the past year or two. My favorite melted a plastic bag when I thought it was off. The others just never got hot enough to warm anything. The temperatures light up in a window when one is selected by gently touching a button. Anyway, this is simply the best one I have used so far. It comes with a silicone removable cover to protect from me or other tings touching the hot plate. 5 stars

Item arrives in a very nice box, pretty enough for gift giving without wrapping! Packaged very neat and included a User Manual. It is simple enough with 2 butttons to select temperature and duration. It also comes with a nice cup lid at about 3.75" so if you have a huge mug this may not fit. The base on my favorite mug is not totally flat but this baby kept my coffee very nice and warm, very very pleased with it.
