I’ve ordered from this company for years. Their Hazelnut is a favorite of mine but also check out the one called Penny Pincher. Someone at Coffee Direct knew what they were doing when they developed that blend for less money. It tastes so rich and flavorful I found myself favoring it over their other blends. This coffee has a good flavor but sometimes it can be a little stronger flavor than I prefer. I mix this coffee 50-50 with San Francisco Bay Breakfast Blend. It has just the right amount of flavor.

We've purchased this coffee from time to time over the years. The cost is low and the large bag lasts a long time. The coffee remains fresh so long as the beans are ground the day of brewing or placed in the freezer until used. We drink black coffee so we prefer some flavor in the beans. What do you get when you combine the aromas of Costco, a medieval brothel full of women who don't bathe and just cover their funk with perfume, and an opened jar of pickles left in a fridge in your garage with no power for over a year? You get Coffee Bean Direct's Chocolate Raspberry Flavored coffee. I am not exaggerating here. These were precisely the rich aromas with witch my nostrils were assaulted. This was by far the worst cup of coffee I have ever had. I wanted to rinse my mouth out with raw sewage to get rid of the taste. I'm half tempted to just throw out my burr grinder because the burrs have been traumatized. The vile concoction created by activating this ground demon-spawn turd, immediately melted the wire filter on my french press releasing a cacophony of sorrow before I forever cursed my taste buds with this demonic brew. I have had to quit my job, sell all my possessions and flee to a Gregorian monastery. I have taken a vow of silence, celibacy and self flagellation (just to be safe), in order to atone and pray that god can save my soul from the curse these beans laid upon me. ... show more
