Despite the videos, setting this up was a nightmare, especially since it came broken. It is clear the stitching which must hold the pressure of stretch once the structure is opened is very weak stitching and won’t last more than a few uses.

The enclosure came inside out, we had to take it apart and re-asemble. It ended out taking several hours in the dark getting it fixed and set up. Once we had it fixed it was great.

When we first received it we immediately ran out to set it up and accidentally set it up inside out. Took us a minute to figure out what we did. However now we know what we’re doing and it’s very easy to set up. Only down side is with wind blockers on and wind pushing can sometimes cause a side wall to collapse if you don’t set up the rope!

It’s really great and works as advertised. Getting the roof cover on was a real conundrum at first bc the instructions were not clear on that, but once you figure out the puzzle it’s great.

It required my husband and I to set it up together, the fabric quality, mesh, and plastic/metal components are sturdy. The shape is more flexible than I expected though. Our dog ripped through the mesh within hours, but it’s mesh so how durable can I really be lol. It protects our kids from the sun and mosquitos though, but not our furry fish 🐶 lol.

I actually unboxed this at home to make sure I could set all by myself. I was disappointed the netting was snagged or had a hole in it. I reached out to the company to start trying to get resolution. I was a bit worried from other reviews I read. The company was quite timely in responses and super easy to work with. I now have a perfect unit that I can’t complain for anything. Super easy to set up and take down. I’m 55 years old and weigh 100 lbs. the whole unit is only 30 lbs and easy to tuck in the motorhome. Husband was impressed how quick you can put walls and roof on if wanted. The only thing with the stargazer unit is that bugs could get in to the hole that you use to pop up on top. I actually just cut a square of felt and when you extend the ceiling up just slide the felt up the string and they won’t be getting in. It’s a great unit and I would recommend. The company was extremely accommodating and just wanted to make it right for me.
