The biggest draw back is that the instructions forbid one person setup, and reality says that 1 person setup is time consuming. Setup by one person is safely possible, but takes patience. You must walk around the tent 4-5 times slowly stretching out the frame to lock it in place. 2 people can set it up in 1/3 the time. Quick setup takes 3-4 people. One person setup would require a push rod for the peak, which is not there on this model. Construction of the frame is as heavy as competitors' models in the same price range. Like competitors' units, caution is needed in strong winds. The first unit I received could not be set up per instructions because the canopy was 5" too small on the diagonal, so it needed to be added before the frame was locked in place. The company took care of that problem and sent me a canopy that is 2" short on the diagonal, which fits now with the corners with in the reinforcement area of the canopy and should fit later after the material stretches a little with use. The instructions forbid using the unit during rain or wind, saying it is only for sun, but the use of waterproof materials and "windproof" tie-downs shows that it is good for light rain and for moderate winds. I have seen a lot of canopies destroyed at soccer games; this one is built as sturdy as many that I saw survive.

I purchased this for my mom's 80th birthdayParty (AUGUST 3) it is very well made i can only speak on my experience as i have seen negative reviews i have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY IT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS IT PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE FROM THE SUN WE DID HAVE A THUNDERSTORM ROLL IN LASTING 30-40 minutes of heavy rain fall THIS TENT DIDNT WAIVER STOOD STRONG I CANNOT ATTEST TO ANY WIND AS WE DID NOT EXPERIENCE THAT BUT IT DID PROVIDE THE SHELTER TO KEEP THE PARTY GOING 🥳🎉🎈EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED COMMENTED ON THE STABILITY DURING THE RAIN & HOW NICE IT WAS UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE ANY PHOTOS TO UPLOAD TO SHOW JUST HOW BEAUTIFUL IT LOOKED AS I WAS SO BUSY ENSURING MY MOM HAD THE BEST DAY OF HER LIFE IM REACHING OUT TO FAMILY HOPEFULLY I CAN GATHER PHOTOS TO DISPLAY THANK U SO MUCH AGAIN FOR A WELL MADE PRODUCT & GETTING SHIPPED TO ME ON TIME 👍🏼

Thinking I was purchasing brand new 10x20 easy up canopy, but when I opened it, the framed looked used. It's in good shape, but used as some of the legs were had dirty on it. Then I set the canopy cover on, it was faded and dirty. Looks like it was left in the sun for quite some days. One corner has a rip on it.

I thought parts were a little weak but any stronger may make it too hard to carry. Overall it was a little less expensive than renting so using it 2-3 times makes it more than worth it. You'll need at least 3 people to put it up and take it down.
