Ordered twice. The first set arrived with the table top damaged. It appeared the table top shifted in the box during the shipment. This caused one side of the table to cave in. I sent it back and received a replacement. During the assembly process, I noticed the door under the table top would not properly shut. This was due to the hinges not properly aligned when installed at the factory. I sent it back and did not request a replacement. In conclusion, the only thing good about this order is the ease of replacement and getting your money back. The set is poorly made and overpriced. Our first order of this set never made it to our house because it was damaged in transit. That of course can't be blamed on the manufacturer. Second set was delivered 5 days later. The Amazon delivery guys brought in one rather small box. When we pointed out that this box only had 2 chairs in it they searched the truck again and then produced another box which had the table. Again we had to point out that wasn't the full set. After another search party was sent out they finally retrieved the last box with two more chairs. The table came together quickly and looked good and solid. First chair went together smoothly and looked fine. The other three were more problematic. On one chair a side crossbar was drilled wrong causing it to be far from level. On the other two remaining chairs the screw holes were off here and there as well. All three chairs had a serious wobble and I ended up removing a plastic coaster from one leg on each chair (same leg on all three) to fix it. I know it's made in Vietnam but for over $700 I would have expected a bit more quality control before shipping it out. ... show more

Beautiful table but arrived slightly damaged. Thebox arrived looking like it had been opened before and then the the table has some signs of wear on the edge of the table and one of the chairs already had small damage to the leather seat. However it is still pretty and the leaf and extension capabilities are nice. Wood is a little darker and very close to black. I was nervous about buying furniture from Amazon but Amazon is good at quality control and customer service if there is actually an issue ... show more

I understand it’s on the cheaper end but it’s not even worth it and I don’t recommend. The smallest movements scratch the table top, it already looks terrible. Also even with the legs completely tightened they still shift. If I wanted a cheaply made table I would’ve purchased from Walmart and saved more money. ... show more

Absolutely love it. If you follow the directions you will assemble wrong. I did not give 5 stars, one of the leg have a split and where there should have been a hole for a screw, there were none. I did contact the manufacturer to get a replacement leg, I am still waiting on a call back.

It looks beautiful. The assembly directions were poorly written but my husband is a carpenter and was able to correct for the lack of info. When assembling the base a specific price needs to be next to the hinged side. The directions are vague here. But I love this table. Even bought extra chairs
