In the small apartment that I live in, I need to be very careful with any furniture I bring in. So while some on here might grumble about its size, I rejoice at how small it is. Note: I'm just under 5ft tall and petite. When the chair arrived, the delivery guy told me not to worry about its heaviness because it was incredibly light -- after all he had carried it to my door as opposed to wheeling it on a dolly. Nevertheless, he was kind enough to set the box inside for me and I was immensely grateful. Upon opening the box, I was overjoyed at the design and how small it was. It's incredibly light so I didn't have to cut the sides of the boxes and instead lifted it straight out of the box with my fingertips. The only set up needed was to put the legs on the ottoman and chair and that was just an easy screwing motion requited. With that done, I sat down to test out my new chair and I was positively shocked at how roomy it is on either side of me. It's very deep so I am glad I heeded the other reviewers tip of getting a nice pillow. I got a sheepskin one which pairs very well and gives the chair that shabby chic look. The only thing I thought would bother me is how easily the ottoman slips about when you prop or feet on it and start moving your feet, But that turned out to be a perk since now i can easily slide the chair and ottoman around my apt easily and it doesn't scratch up the wood flooring.     • Perfect for what I needed it for
I have a small space in my bedroom and wanted a chair for reading or relaxing. I bought this chair because I liked the pattern. It's an okay chair but be aware it is very low. The legs are only a couple inches long so the chair is low to the floor. If you have trouble getting up from a low position, this chair is not for you. Also it is not comfortable for sitting in for long periods of time. I put a pillow at the back of the chair and that helps make it a bit more comfy. I think this would be a great chair for an entrance or in a corner somewhere more for decoration and occasional seating rather than a chair to be used daily. This chair is cute but very uncomfortable to sit in. It is very small, good for 5ft 3 and under. It is hard on the back and you sit very upright in it. I put a pillow on the back and it helps a little. The chair is pretty sturdy.

We got this chair for a corner reading nook in our home office. It fits perfect tucked into the corner and it's really cute. I bought a coordinating pillow for the back because I read a lot of reviews saying it wasn't the most comfortable. Those reviews were correct! The back is pretty straight so you can't really slouch down into it. The pillow makes it comfy though. The ottoman is a little...hard, but it's not something you snuggle up on and settle in for hours. It's for FEET. All-in-all I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again. It's attractive, fits in a corner really well and is comfy now that I've made a few adjustments. Now I can curl up and read comfortably while my husband is working on the computer. ... show more

    • Great Deal On A Print That I Have Wanted Forever!
I purchased this chair for a newly remodeled bedroom. I absolutely love the print! I have seen similar on high dollar furniture but didn't want to spend that for an item to be used in an upstairs guest bedroom.I would say that it is quality for what you pay. There is not much cushion to it so if you are looking for a chair that you sink into..this is NOT your chair. Anyway, It arrived in record time and perfectly packaged. All that I had to do was unpack it and screw in the legs. It took me five minutes tops. For such a reasonable price, this makes the perfect little nook or corner chair. Add a side table, lamp, cozy throw blanket, brew up a cup of tea or coffee and voila ..the perfect rainy day reading chair and cute little ottoman! ... show more

This chair is ok. I like the look of it. It's a beige background with black writing and brown/black legs. The print is a little darker than I expected and the fabric a canvas-like material - a little rough. Also, the seat cushion is thin and very firm. As of right now, it's only comfortable for a few minutes or sitting on a pillow, but I am hoping that it breaks in and gets softer with time. I do love that it comes with an ottoman. I love vintage decor so this caught my eye immediately. Price is too good to decline. When it was delivered, I was actually impressed by how securely it seem to be packaged. We had both pieces assembled in no more than 10 minutes. Arrived early. It's a very good looking chair. Not very comfortable without a pillow but I guess accent chairs are rarely ever very comfortable. The legs that go on the chair were packaged and taped on the foot rest & vice versa, so I ended up putting the wrong legs on the chair. I corrected it, BUT the legs started to chip because I guess the wood is not of good quality. The chipping is on the legs of the foot rest and can't really be seen so it's not that huge of a deal. Also, the bottoms of both the chair and foot rest are PLASTIC, which means they WILL SLIDE ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN CARPET. The paint on the plastic part also started to immediately chip, which again no one sees so it's not a big deal but it does make a mess on the floor. Although I do wish it was maybe an inch or two taller, Overall, for the price it is an ok chair. I gave it 4 stars on looks & quick shipping. ... show more
