Before pregnancy, I was a size 2X on top and 20-22 on bottom [...]. I bought a size 3 BellaBand, and at 31 weeks through my first pregnancy, it's just getting to be a little tight, but I still use it. I've used this band for 3 purposes so far: 1. Hold up pre-pregnancy pants (works well! I never felt like they would fall down). 2. Worn over my full-band maternity jeans, under a white t-shirt. The jeans have a dark blue band, but the nude BellaBand hid it perfectly under a snug white shirt. 3. Extra support. When the maternity jeans feel a little loose, or I just want to feel like I have extra belly support, I've put this on over my maternity pants. I don't think #3 is a good reason to buy this band, but since I had it, I used it. I also have an actual support band, but this BellaBand is somewhere in-between that and nothing, in terms of support. I washed the BellaBand in a mesh delicates bag, and dried it with my other laundry. There was no noticeable shrinkage or damage done to the tacky strip along the bottom of the band. Good quality. My minor pet peeve with this thing is that you have to pull it on like a snake skin, over your head or legs. And when you go to the bathroom, you have to pull it up and it's a little tight when it's all bunched up below your chest. That's not really an issue with the product, but more a complaint about pregnancy and the need for things like this.

So this is my second pregnancy and I'm halfway now, but totally still have that flappy skin on my tummy from my son (who was a big baby and I had polyhydraminos which didn't help). So I was surprised this pregnancy when I formed this really awkward looking bump. Maternity pants with the high waistbands where my only help in looking like I'm actually pregnant and not just deformed lol. But I only have so many pairs of maternity pants and there are so many pairs of pants that I miss wearing. So anyway, the Bella band is perfect for me not just holding up pants that don't button anymore but also holding the bottom part of my bump up to make my bump look less awkward. It sounds dumb but I swear it's been such a great thing to have. I recommend it to every pregnant woman even though I've never heard of anyone else using it for the reason that I do lol

I am a first time mother, and I did not know what products to purchase that would help me adjust to changes. After some research, I found this belly band. It not only smooths out your stomach and back without being constricting, it really does keep your pants up! I rarely have to adjust it, and it truly stays in place! I think if you are overweight and pregnant, try this. Your body type will probably determine how comfortable it is. I had a B-Belly and it worked fine. I would extrapolate from my fit that this would fit sizes 20-28 well.

Great for beginning of pregnancy while tummy is still small. Especially great for plus size women who would want to smooth and round out their cute belly shape. However, definitely doesn't do much as pregnancy goes on and belly grows. I personally like to have some support and lift and this does not provide that at all once belly is big. I ended up getting a different brand that had a thicker material, stronger hold and some curvature in the fabric to allow belly room but then extra hold under belly and around hips. This is just a thin material that is flat throughout the entire thing (meaning no hip support and belly "pocket" and definitely stretches out after a day or two of wear so I found myself throwing it in the dyer constantly to try to tighten it back up. If you want a firmer support, you could try sizing down.

I had laparoscopic surgery for my hysterectomy and wanted something that felt slightly supportive without being too constrictive. This was Absolutely perfect! It was easy to wear, clean, and fit comfortably with a soft elastic fabric. I couldn't imagine my recovery without this, especially while adjusting to tighter waisted pants.

I bought this when I was 12 weeks for support and to help smooth out my B belly. I bought a size 3 for size 16-22 and pre pregnancy I was an 18 (5'6", 250lbs all weight in my boobs and belly) in pants so I figured the extra room would be needed as I got bigger. I stopped wearing it for 6 weeks because it just kept rolling up, even with the silicone band on the bottom. I wore it again at 18 weeks and it was just kind of there, meaning it didn't do anything special. It also stretches after one wear so it needs to go in the dryer to gain its shape again. I saw the ones at Target also by Ingrid and Isabel and bought the XL. It was much tighter but didn't give me the support I was looking for. So if you're plus size and you can afford it, buy the suggested size and a size down. Then you can return the one that's too big. If you need a lot of support, maybe an actual maternity belt would be better. Side note: my b belly is very pronounced still at 22 weeks, with a very low hanging apron belly. This doesn't smooth me out, it actually sucks in my apron belly like a Spanx but it does help round my upper belly so I look half belly pregnant 😃
