Not airtight, but as I keep food in the bag with a clip, that's okay. I use Merrick & Fromm dog food, can just fit a 30 lb bag (largest size) of those. Very pleased, allows me to store & reach kibble on a pantry shelf, well above dog reach, vs keeping in an upright pull-out container on the floor. No more wear from the wheels on my floor, no more bending to scrape from the bottom of the bin (my achy back & creaky knees are happy), and if crumbs, etc need to be cleaned put, is so easy to carry over to the sink, rinse & dry. And, the price was much better than local stores, esp since I bought one from the Amazon Warehouse Deals that was "damaged". Hah, yeah, just a small scuff on the side, barely noticeable, and invisible since it's in my pantry. I checked out similar containers with the screw on, airtight lids, but those lids were tought to grip & turn, and required 2 hands to open & close, and you need a spot to set down the dish & lid from the bin. Try that while holding a dish full of kibble. With this one, I open the pantry door, flip open the lid on the bin - which stays open easily - unclip the bag, scoop out kibble, reclip the bag, flip the lid & pantry door closed - all with 1 hand, in literally 5-6 seconds. And, when you have an "omg, I thought I was gonna die from hunger" FLabrador Retriever, seconds matter, LOL.

COVID has forced me to work from home meaning my pet room has officially been turned into my office. I couldn't deal with all of the dog food, cat food, and cat litter containers laying around the room. I ordered 4 of these bins and am now totally organized in my office! The bins open on the front, stack, and have the ability to be locked! They are super durable (my dogs think they can chew through to the food, jokes on them!) and hold more than you think! LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! Size: I can fit a 50lb bag of dog food in two containers, one container holds 35 lbs of cat litter, my last container holds my 10lb bag of cat food.

I have had one for a few years to hold food for my 1 cat. Then I decided I needed a dog again and adopted an older Doxie from the pound, so I needed another bin. This smallest size is almost impossible to find now that the dog needs a blend of 2 different Prescription Diets and word is they’re being discontinued. Don’t you dare do that! They are perfect for the 6 pound sacks of dry food and perfect for short grandmas with arthritis in their shoulders. A bin that they have to access from the top becomes a nightmare by the last of the food. And I have never seen a bug of any kind in or around my food. Very well made, easy to close and the cat and dog can’t get in. I intend to stack my 3rd one on top of one of the others. Glad I was able to get that last one! Please keep making them. I never know what I’ll end up with next!

We have several of these to store pet food, since each of our dogs eat different types of kibble. We needed something that would fit in our pantry, with easy access to the food (I did not want anything I had to unscrew, lift, unlock, or use 2 hands to open). These bins have been completely functional and durable for us over a couple of years so far. I am not currently using these in a stacked configuration, they are side-by-side under my lowest pantry shelf. I have found that they are much easier to fill---with less spillage out the front door---when I have them sitting on their "back" instead of their "bottom." In the photo below, you can see that I have it filled with the "top" facing outward: the door then swings left instead of right. My one star off is because the easy-open door is perhaps just a little TOO easy to open---my dogs can do it! I absolutely do not want to use any locking feature (it has a ring on the door that could be used that way), because that would make it inconvenient for me to hassle with; but if the door just had a slightly harder "snap" closure that would be perfect.

I bought two of these and they are working out great! My dogs have different types of food and I have been looking for something that can be easily accessed as well as be able to fit in the pantry cupboard. These fit perfectly when stacked and each one holds a whole large bag of dog food! When empty they can be a little unstable so I recommend putting grip tape in between the two, but when full they are very stable.

Shipping was prompt and so far we've been very happy with the sturdiness and stackability. Needed these to store pet food as I am pregnant and it is difficult to bend down to scoop food out of a bag. Stacking the bins makes it easy for me to feed the pets without stooping or lifting a heavy bag. We've got 3 stacked on top of each other and have seen no evidence of buckling or any other problems. Only (minor) issue is that when the bin starts to get empty it's easy to yank the door to hard and pull the bins askew so they're no longer stacked neatly.

I purchased the 9 gallon container and it holds a 26# bag of dog food perfectly with room for a bit more. I thought it was an airtight container, but after reading the description again, discovered it was not. We store our pet food indoors so the fact that it is not airtight is not a deal breaker. I also thought for $26.00, the plastic would be a thicker grade but it is thin and bows at the door. I had considered returning them and purchasing something heavier duty, but decided it was not worth my trouble. Instead, I'll purchase two more airtight containers for my pet food and will use these to store non-food items. I would not recommend purchasing this container for food products but it would be acceptable for other storage needs.
