First off I ordered one for my sister's tired old galvanized gate at her home to help it operate a little easier. So I order one to try I out and see if it would work before I ordered a second to match it. It did work beautifully. So I enthusiastically ordered the second. It arrived today in seemingly the same perfect condition. Until I looked at the u bolt. All of the threads are messed up. And not from damage. I was a tool and maker, this is poor manufacturing process, a bad die or etc. Everything else is in perfect shape but the u bolt is completely unusable. I don't want to return it because I want it to match so I have to get a replacement bolt at a hardware store. ... show more

As with one of the other customer reviews, that I read too late the die cast on the the u bracket makes it un-useable. I had an old one that i replaced with on order to get it on the gate. Unfortunately it doesn't help much as it turns on the gate tubing making it almost useless. I don't know if it would have worked better with the original u bolt because it was defective from the factory.😕 The wheel is sturdy. ... show more
