First I want to say that this jacket exceeded all my expectations, I have no regrets, and no reservations on recommending this jacket. I bought this for a shell to wear over my armor and jersey when riding dual-sport on cooler days. I wanted something cheap, and I ordered this based on the good reviews. Like most others, I was surprised by the quality of the jacket when it arrived. I can't speak to the protection it offers, but I can say that the fit and finish of the final product was excellent for just about any price point. Since I bought this jacket to wear over my off-road armor shirt (chest, arms and back armor), I took all the built-in armor out of the jacket. For the record, I'm 6'0" pushing 205 pounds. The large fit well over both me and my armor. I never intended to use it as a "waterproof" jacket, but my it rained on me pretty hard coming home from a short camping trip. On my hour's ride in the rain, it did leak through and dampen the zip-out liner enough that I was feeling it pretty good towards the end. I'd say it was a good 20 minutes in soaking rain before that happened, so not a bad show for the jacket. And again, it exceeded my expectations. You can't really expect full waterproof at this price point. Final verdict: A killer value for money and possibly unbeatable at this price. Just don't expect to stay dry in heavy rain. ... show more

I've had it for almost two years now, and other than a couple small issues, I love it. I ride down to about 30 degrees F, but the temperature limit isn't the pants or jacket, just my gloves. They protect against wind extremely well! The issues I have are that the fabric behind the zippers likes to get caught IN the zippers if you're not careful. It did a quite few times before I figured out how to mostly avoid it (run your finger in front of the zipper to tuck the fabric back), but luckily the jacket zipper never broke like one of the pants leg ones did. I got caught in my first major rain today with it on and rode about 30 miles home, and my chest and armpits started getting wet right when I pulled into the driveway. The chest I can understand because the water probably came through the zipper, but not sure why my armpits got wet. Take the "100% waterproof" claim with a grain of salt. The inner pocket with the phone marking on it might fit some smaller phones, but is way too small for my pixel 6 pro. No idea how they claim that's a conceal carry pocket unless they've made it substantially larger since I bought mine. In my opinion, all the pockets need to be enlarged to be actually useful. When I got mine, all the armor was in weird shapes, I imagine from shipping. I tried straightening/shaping them, but nothing worked, so I removed them all. I've never taken the inner liner out, so no idea how it performs without it. ... show more

So far after a few weeks the jacket seems pretty good. It did well in the rain but it's not very warm under 50 degrees. It would be a great summer jacket since it's very breathable. The adjustability of the fit is nice if you wanted to layer up underneath. As for storage the pockets are quite small and the concealed pockets could be bigger. I'd prefer a couple big pockets rather than small pouch pockets. All that being said for the price it's a great jacket and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something cheap or maybe even a temporary till you find the more expensive jacket you've been waiting to buy. I know it'll be seeing more use towards spring but for myself right now I'll need something a little warmer especially when the temp gets below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. ... show more

I only used it twice because I just got it and I just put my bike away for the winter but it's better than I thought. It seems well made. The quality is what I was worried about. It's easy to get the thermal layer in and out. Zippers seam to be good quality. I bought a hi vis green and it looks good. It has plenty of pockets for what you need and vents to zip open for airflow. This however is my first armor motorcycle jacket so I don't have any experience on other brands or models. If you need a cheap armored jacket this is a good choice. I wear a 2xl and that's what I bought and it fits great. ... show more

I was skeptical about this jacket due to the low cost. Yet, it does appear to be fairly well made. It's comfortable and the vents do a decent job of letting air through. It's not obvious from the description, but in addition to the two vertical zippered air vents in the front of the jacket, there's a third horizontal zippered air vent on the back of the jacket at the top. This makes a very noticeable difference is air flow. As far as this jacket being "waterproof"... I wasn't really expecting it to be. Most clothing or shoes/boots that truly are "waterproof" do not breath at all and take forever to dry if you do happen to get the inside part wet. However, I rode in a light rain for about 20 mins or so. Then back home later in some light rain for about 15mins and my shirt remained dry. I don't it'd be dry from a serious storm with a deluge of rain coming down, but for the occasional unexpected light rain, it seems to do it's job. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised with this jacket. I'm 5 8 157 lbs and medium is slightly big but great if your layering long sleeve. On my bike 5 days a week 3 to 5 hrs a day in Seattle. I rode in 40 degree weather the day I got it, and was very impressed with the wind-blocking and warmth. Rode in 60 degree weather the next day and had to take the liner out to keep from sweating.
