The gate looks great. We cut it to 35.5 inches wide. It is sturdy. However I didn't have the proper saw to cut the poles. I had difficulty with the self tapping screws. My son-in-law cut the poles for me and put in the self tapping screws. The hinges did not fit the fence posts that were already in place. I ordered some separately. Assembling the gate, cutting the chain link and threading the wire is easy. I am 77 and fairly handy. Someone with experience with saws and self tapping screws wouldn't have any difficulty. ... show more

Its a really nice gate. Instructions didnt really make sense so I went off others pictures in reviews and made it easier. Perfect size for what I needed I needed snippets, a drill and a wrench to complete this gate. It is heavy and durable but not too heavy where im struggling to carry it. You can choose which way you want the gate too which is nice for adjustability. ... show more

So far, I like them. They are a breeze to assemble; I am an 82 year old active female and put both of them together in about 30 minutes. A lot of that time was spent unwrapping them and reading the instructions on the first one. They are very good-looking, seem to be durable, sturdy gates and the price is great! This is a decent, affordable gate, although it does have some issues. I DO recommend upon opening the box it arrives in that you find the lock-wire it came with and flush it straight down the toilet. The wire was not strong enough to "neatly" hold the top and bottom of the fencing to the frame without breaking (See Photo). Once I purchased a better quality of wire, I was able to assemble the gate easily. You also may want to purchase some "beefier" self-tapping screws, as one of the heads broke off, even though I drilled pilot holes for all the screws. Beyond these minor issues, the remainder of assembly and installation was straight-forward and I now have a nice-looking, functional gate in my back yard. ... show more
