  • Nice watch band
Color: Silver
I bought this watch band to use with my Fenix 7X Sapphire solar, not really expecting much. It was $50 compared to the Garmin version which is $300. I can't tell you if it's titanium, it's not overly heavy so it's probably not stainless steel. It seems good quality, my last one broke and as a result my watch fell on the ground so I am pretty particular about the durability of these watch bands at this point. I can honestly say that I trust this watch band so far, it's only been 5 days so I can't say long-term yet. It has a very nice clasp, it was extremely easy to adjust the links. If you are on the fence about getting it, I think you will be pleasantly surprised for the price. You would probably get a little bit nicer band from Garmin, but you're going to pay six times the price so you have to make that choice. For me, I work in construction so I fully expect this watch band to get pretty beat up. I definitely trust it a lot more than the silicone one it came with. On a side note, it looks really slick. Definitely adds to the overall aesthetic of the watch and makes it look like a high-end watch. I won't feel bad about beating up this watch band, I would probably feel bad about beating up a 300 plus dollar Garmin watch band. I may still end up getting the Garmin one but it's probably pretty unlikely at this point because this is a pretty nice band. One small thing that may bother some people is that there is a little bit of play where the band attaches to the Phoenix 7X which leaves a 1/4 inch gap on the attachment bar. It's still fully secure, and in my opinion having a little bit of play there actually makes the band a little better because it allows more movement which I think makes the band more comfortable. I don't know if the version from Garmin has this but if that would be a problem for you then probably get the Garmin one. ... show more

  • Perfect Garmin Titanium Wrist Band
Color: Black
Perfect for Epix M.2. Matches the matte black of the watch perfectly. Comes with lots of links, so could fit almost any human wrist. Two half links also included for perfect fit. Easy to add or remove links, and uses Garmin quick attach for connection to watch. Actually could not be better. Very highly recommended. ... show more

  • Cheaper alternative to OEM with a durable finish. Cheaper alternative to OEM with a durable finish.
Color: Black
Update (5/12/20): I’m following up on my initial review four months ago. I had originally gave it 3-stars because it had some small scratches and I didn’t think that the surface finish was durable. Although I’ve accumulated quite a bit of scratches in just four months, I’m really impressed with the watch’s durability. You see, I’m real stubborn and don’t like taking my watch off when working on things. I work on my car a lot and keep the watch on while I stick my hands under the hood, suspension/brakes, and exhaust system. There’s even some paint overspray on it from when I was painting a valve cover. You can see in the updated pics that the watch case itself has more scratches than the band. Therefore, I increased my rating to 4-stars because the paint is very durable. Initial review: The good: Half length links for a perfect fit Easy to adjust OEM looks Cheaper alternative to OEM The bad: Heavier than it should be Already scratched when I got it Finish doesn’t appear durable The band came with a simple tool to remove/install the links. The links were easy to remove/install. I noticed that the pins had some corrosion on the shaft. We’ll see how they hold up over time. There were scratches on some of the links upon arrival. It’s almost like they just used a rattle can on it based on the thickness of the paint. I don’t expect it to stay nice for long. The finish is a matte black that matches my Fenix 5. I’ve had titanium watches in the past and the band seemed heavier than it should be. I applied a magnet to it and it appears that the only nonferrous parts are the actual links and clasp externals. The end assemblies, pins, and clasp internals are all ferrous. Overall, I don’t think that this band is worth the price but it is still a lot cheaper than buying OEM. I plan I’m updating this review in a year or if/when it breaks. ... show more

  • This band punches way above it's weight class This band punches way above it's weight class
Color: Silver
This matches the metal on the Epix perfectly and give a super classy look. Beware the band does not have standard links, they are springs that you would typically only see on the ends of standard bands. A tool is provided for adjustment and its pretty quick once you figure out they're not pins to push out but brings you compress with tha tool and wiggle free. ... show more

  • Great Value Great Value
Color: Black
I've been using this band for almost a year now and every day I'm impressed with it. I use it on my 945, which I wear 24/7. I do switch out the band for workouts once a day and I don't wear the band in any water, so it avoids getting sweaty and wet, but it gets a lot of wear on the clasp. To that end, the only wear that I see on the strap is at the clasp, where the side of the clasp rubs against the watch. It's completely hidden while the band is installed, so this does not bother me at all. I like to think that I am careful with the watch and band, but with two kids under 5, there's only so careful I can be, so the fact that the band has been unscathed over the last year is really impressive. I can't speak to the actual material used - I know some other reviewers called into question whether this is actual titanium. I have no reason to doubt it, and the band is stamped with a "T", though it would be easy enough to stamp steel with a T. Sizing the band was easy enough. I was definitely glad it is something that only had to be done once, but the tools to do it are included and, while it took some fine motor skills and some curses, I did manage to get it sized relatively easily all things considered. Let's just say that there was nothing with the band itself that made it difficult to size, just the mechanism that any link-based watch band would use that is by its nature difficult. Speaking of sizing, prior to this, I had a conventional watch with a stainless steel band. I'm used to wearing a watch with a band that has some play on my wrist. It's not ideal for getting accurate heart rate readings from the 945, especially when it slips down my wrist and sits near my hand directly on top of my wrist bone (the closer to your elbow and tighter you wear your watch, the better the readings will be). For me, the comfort aspect is well worth the slightly less accurate HR readings. I don't have any agitation on my wrist from wearing the band like I did for the Fitbit I wore with a silicone band. My wrist gets to breathe, which prevents the area under my watch from getting sweaty/stinky and just generally gross. This band definitely feels worth the money to me. The official Garmin band at $200 seems so ludicrous and I can't imagine spending that much on any accessory, and while $50 is not cheap, considering how much I wear this watch and how much more it is than just a fitness device, it has been worth the investment. And I am happy to say it has really held up. ... show more

  • It's ok
Color: Black
It's nice and light but the construction is low precision. The whole thing just feels a bit rough and unpolished. Being loose is ok but this thing just rattles given any movement. The adjustability is great though and it's easy to tweak the links to the right length. But the whole thing feels a bit cheap and squeaky. ... show more
