I used this fence in a bit of an unconventional way and created an enclosure off of our house with it, versus the traditional square. It works great and I secured it in place to the house with brackets that I also got on Amazon. Super sturdy when done like this and way easier to put together than expected. I watched Netflix and had the whole thing built in 2 hours with a power drill. The gates are a little flimsy so I’d probably go with a panel again in the future as it’s short enough to step over easily but my 2 pugs and Weimaraner now have a place to play!

Fence and gate look nice but the gate should be a little more sturdy with the locking mechanism. If not installed ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, it will open if banged, bumped or maybe even heavy wind. A little bigger and strong locking mechanism for the gate would make this great

Assembly is easy i.e. simple steps, but you have to assemble each single column in the frame. Some of them didn't have tight anchors, so they kept coming out of the slots. Since they will be facing down, we are letting gravity do its job! It has a cute door as well. About installation, the difficulty level is all dependent on your backyard ground. We thought it would be just hammer and it would go in easily, which it did where it was soft dirt. But most parts, we had to dig a lot and remove small pebbles and rocks so the stakes can go deep and level with the other frames. Also, if you have to curve along your lawn like we had, we had to get creative to get the right look while aligning the frames. Have a good drilling machine handy for ease. Simply with a screwdriver, it will get very hard to drill holes while you are aligning frames. These are not bendable so you have to factor those angles while you start turning along the perimeter. Sturdiness - well, its not wood, its vinyl. We got it for our pug. Small dogs cannot knock them off. But, if you have big dogs, they can easily knock them out. Frankly, if you are looking to keep critters out and enhance your lawn aesthetics for a low cost, this fence is fabulous. But surely don't count on it for protection or privacy of any measure. Overall, it has really increased the beauty of our backyard while keeping our small dog inside safely. We are really happy with it after all the effort. If it is for looks and for small pets, then I would highly recommend getting this fence.

The fencing material on this product is of high quality and pairs well with their other fence sections, however within the first year the included hinges have rusted out and broken rendering the gate inoperable. The gate works well at first but the hinges won’t last.

Update: Still deserves 1 star. I hired a handy man to assemble the gates and to install the gates and the fence. The person also had issue aligning the gate, installing the fence in the ground despite the soil being moist, few of the ends blended. This is complete trash and waste of money. Not only did I pay for 2 of each but additionally $100 for handy man. He tried his best but the product is junk. I'll search for other solution than this. Prior review: I bought 2 sets of the fence posts and 2 of the gates 2 months ago... I hate that I didn't try to assemble back then but based on reviews I thought it's a good product and easy to assemble . It's beyond me why the gate doesn't come with pre-drilled corner brackets or pre-drilled holes for the door latch or just the actual lock system should be already put into place! It so hard to drill into the plastic and I can't assemble it. I don't get how people did it. Really not happy that it's so difficult to put together this gate. The fence was not hard at all.. I can't return them either. I only opened 1 box of fence and 1 gate, the rest are still packaged and have no clue what to do with either of them. Just like the reviewer from Wisconsin I may need to hire someone to get it done for me, assembly plus installation because it's also not easy to install in the ground.

Absolutely love this fence! My dog weighs 18 pounds and this is perfect for him. He has a nice area to play and be happy in the back yard. And that makes me happy!!

Fairly easy to build and install. Gate hardware is a little flimsy and may need to be replaced with better hardware. Had a struggle trying to get the gate level but the ground is not so I just have to lift the gate to get it to latch. Not really a big deal. Made of same PVC as fence so it matches perfectly.
