The gate works great. I needed to widen the gate in my fence when I purchased a larger riding mower. i added this gate about a year ago and it works fine. I just purchased another one to be able to get to my neighbor's yard so I can occasionally help her with various tasks. I did not need to cut the gate rails as I wanted the gate to be as wide as possible. Gate assembly is pretty easy. I second person to help would not hurt at certain points during the assembly but it can be done with one person. The gate is now fully assembled and I will install it as soon as the weather warms up a little. I am happy with the purchases of both of these gates. Update: the gate comes with the two pieces that hinge the gate to the post. You have to purchase the two hinge pieces that go on the gate post to complete the hinges assembly. I bought mine at a local home improvement store that has stores all over the southeast USA and probably in more places than that. They two pieces do not work together well because the pieces that come with the gate are the female part of the hinge assembly and they are tack welded so that if the male part of the hinge that you purchase is even slighly larger in diameter than the hole in the female part then the gate will not open properly so now i have go back to the local store and purchase the female gate hinge pieces making sure that they are not tack welded to complete the project. I have purchased two of these gates, the second purchase had this issue, the first purchase did not.

This is exactly what it says. They only thing I don't like is that the corners are rounded vs squared, but it's only a miniscule hindrance...like on a scale of 0-100, it bothers me about a 7, lol. It was very easy to put together if you read the directions on where to cut and everything. The only issues I had at all was a hard one to blame on anyone. There was a missing piece. This piece is a rod that holds the chainlink to the side. It's hard to say if it's the manufacturer's fault or my guess from what happened, the sorry shipping company. They were not gental with the package. I messaged the seller and got a replay super quick. It did take a while to get the replacement but I did get it. The replacement was bent very bad but I was tired of dealing with the problem and needed my gate repaired so I straighten it. Once it was straight, the fence went together and looked great! It is about half the weight of the old gate and fit the spot perfectly! Thanks for the great customer service!

Very easy to assemble, decent instructions. Able to replace a fence panel with this gate kit in an afternoon. Now a skid steer can access our fenced in backyard for some heavy landscape work. Forgot that hinge pins were not included (hinge pin receivers are), bought a gate hinge kit @ Menards for $10 (the only local hardware or home improvement retailer that had it in-store). Also just ordered a double gate drop pin kit via Amazon (as I am using this gate with the smaller existing gate), and will bolt that up when it arrives. Overall I will have about $100 and my time invested - pretty cheap considering skid steer access will save us big money for our backyard project.

I needed to replace an old broken gate and run into problems finding a gate the right size to fit the existing gate posts in my property. Luckily, I run across this Fit-Right adjustable gate (sold through Amazon and shipped from Home Depot). It was the perfect solution to my problem! Assembly was not difficult and took about 2 hours to make, but the end result was a very nice gate at a good price and just the right size I wanted.

over all the gate is a very nice gate and seems to be well constructed. The poles interlock and are sturdy really like the diagonal support wire as helps keep the gate from sagging. But took off two stars due to the very cheap and light weight chain link. The fencing chain link is a low grade metal not galvanized, feels like a cheap zinc or aluminum I ended up taking the chain link from my old gate and installing it on this gate. I was planning on installing a double gate in another location but will be using a different gate kit due to the chain link.

Value for the money..durability good quality, easy installation and instructions..not yo heavy but just right for a replacement gate that I needed.. I didn't saw anything so I guess I measured incorrectly..it did come with the latch and some hinges, you just need to have the post and the other hinges that are connected to the post..I love it.. my brother will fix the gap so I'm not worried.. it looks great

First and foremost.. the BIGGEST problem is that this product is not 72'' wide as is claimed. It claims to be 72'' on this page, and also in the instruction booklet. However, it measures 67'' wide after it is put together. The instruction booklet claims that the gate width should be 4'' shorter than the gate opening - and therefore what I think they meant to say is that this fence is built for a 72'' wide opening and is not the literal gate width, which makes sense, because if it was literally 72'' it wouldn't function as a gate with a 72'' opening. However, it isn't 4'' smaller than a 72'' opening, it is FIVE inches smaller. I bought two of these for my exactly 12 foot gate opening and there is such a wide gap in the middle that the latch does not attach to the other one. There is the standard 1-2 inch gap on the sides, but in the middle there is a 6-8 inch gap, when it should be at least 2 inches less. NOTE: if you decide to buy this product anyways and think to yourself that you can just buy longer extender bars than this kit comes with , think again! Their extender bars are not perfectly round, but have a dip in the bottom of it - it seems to be custom-made and not pre-fabrication. Good luck finding a good fit. Second problem: the instructions that this comes with do not explain that drilling is needed. They do indeed say that you need a drill in the beginning, but it does not tell you when, where and how. In fact, the ‘how’ part is lost in a lot of the instructions, like how to use the turn bar to square the fence. Good luck figuring out how to mostly build this on your own. I recommend youtube if you're not a handyman. The instructions also lie that you only need 30 minutes to assemble.. on my second round of building it and knowing what I was doing, I still needed well over an hour. Third problem: the chain link will probably arrive tangled and you'll spend a decent amount of time untangling it. It's annoying to work with. (My last two photos were taken AFTER I had spent a decent amount of time untangling them, btw). I know the manufacturer could have done something to prevent this, because I have seen chain link properly packaged before.
