This is a little more complicated than regular button openers. I actually ended up wiping out all my codes and then started with this to get access and working as you put in the code and hit enter to get it talking to the opener first. Happy that I figured it out!

I had my two garage door openers replaced during the last year, but only ordered one wall-mounted keypad. I ordered this one in the hopes that it would work as well, and it DOES! It also has some added features, which can allow you to close the door using only one button on the keypad, plus an "anti-tailgate" feature which allows you to enter extra characters at random to your code when entering to prevent someone from viewing and using your entry code. Installation couldn't have been easier, too. I was up and running within 5 minutes--it's that easy to program and mount! Love it!

The instructions to pair have more steps, and feel time sensitive in a way that makes it pretty intimidating. It requires setting the code, the connection type, and then actually pairing it all in one go. Actually, I think pairing it to the opener is probably separate, but is presented as if it is not... Regardless, I got it paired successfully on my first try, and it works great! Exactly what I needed to replace my old one that wasn't working consistently anymore

I ordered this wire-free garage door opener keypad from Amazon, arrived very quickly in a box. Out of the packaging I received the opener with a 9-volt battery, an instruction manual, and installations screws and anchors. We own a Chamberlain garage door opener motor with an orange button, so this keypad is a correct fit for this type of garage door motor. Installation instructions are very clear and understandable. It took me 10 minutes to mount and pair this with our motor. When you press on the keys it lights up red, good enough to see in dark. It works really well and easy to install. The pin code must consist of only four digits. Personally, I feel that having the option for more digits, such as 6 or 8, would enhance security. A four-digit code doesn't feel sufficiently secure to me. However, aside from this concern, I highly recommend this keypad.

This door controller is better than the Chamberlain OEM in one feature; the door has stronger detents to both keep the door in a closed or open position. The wind does not pick this door up! Easy installation and programming.

Ah… we got this to customize a small cardboard “house” for our kiddo. It seems sturdy like it’ll hold up to kid use, and it looks nice. Other than that, we cannot say.. but it’s suiting our needs/purpose as intended.
