This seems like a quality mattress pad for a reasonable price. I used the dryer method to fluff it up and it fit nicely on our queen mattress, adding an extra layer of softness that my husband also noticed. It comes vacuum packed and expands once released so I don't know how you could fit it back in the same package to return even if you wanted to. There was no 'new' odor at all which I appreciated! Excellent quality, great value for the money! Appearance is lovely (very attractive), and is well made. Using this added a true pillow top comfort to my aging queen sized mattress. And it isn't a sinking soft topper either so retains firmness (my mattress is firm) but added a layer of pleasant pillow top comfortable feel. I was concerned about it generating heat but so far it has kept me cool while sleeping this Summer (I keep my air at 70 on hot/humid days and have ceiling fan in bedroom.) The Niagara sleep solution was everything that was stated.Followed instructions as stated and put in dryer to fluff,was amazed at how it this fluffed up and felt wonderful.Has sides that you'll will be able to fit on mattress and easy to get on,although it will seem to small but gets the job done.Now,to understand that I,m sleeping on a Very hard mattress which is like cement this pad helped but did not stop the feeling of a very hard ,firm mattress. I like the pad very much and felt that if I had a nice mattress this would be perfect.Having no other choice than to buy a new mattress, I bought a 2inch memory foam pad to help with the problem.I will place this on my very hard mattress and than place this the pillow type pad over the foam.Feel this will work and maybe get a good night sleep. The Niagara pillow top pad was very nice but not near enough to help with the solution of a bad mattress. Hope this answers question of what you need.If your buying this to fix a hard mattress it Will not work.Will let you know latter as to how both work together. ... show more
