This truly is a one person setup canopy. We purchased this as a carry-type canopy to set up in the water at the lake. Setup is easy, adjustable legs (to any height) allow for tilting to just about any angle during sunny south Texas days and after a year of constant use during the summer and winter, it's still going strong. The only thing I do differently is instead of using the plastic stakes that are provided, I instead use a dog tie-down stake (the type that screw into the ground) in the water and tie the provided ropes to them. Have had absolutely no problems in windy conditions. I also hang a cargo net along the edge and I now have somewhere to place cell phones, wallets, etc. while the canopy is in the water. Would definitely recommend and will definitely buy again when the time comes.

This shade was a pleasant surprise. Bought it last minute before tailgating in West Lafayette. It was simple to put up and take down. Was way more sturdy than we had expected for the price. Will be buying a second one.

I bought 3 of these this summer for a preschool childcare and after the summer was over i noticed the material starting to deteriorate and a lot if screws came loose and fell to the ground. I managed to get all the screws back in the correct places but I'm unsure what to do about the cover. I don't think it'll make another summer. For over $125 it should last longer than 1 season.

Bought this to use for shade at my daughters soccer games. Five of us sit under it with room to spare. It was sort of easy to put up. I’m really short so pushing up the middle was a bit difficult for me but if your taller than 5’2” that shouldn’t be a problem for you.

It can be done setting up by one person. Of course it'll be faster with 1 more set of hands. This is amazing. I coach youth flag football and used for shade during our football season. I got lots of compliments and comments about "I need to get me one of those" by other coaches walking by. I never put it back in its carrying case but by the looks of it, it would be a pain in the butt to do. So I kept it out the bag and just left it in my vehicle during the season. Well worth the purchase. I will be buying about 2 more to use as cover for my cords of wood.

I purchased this canopy as a shelter for a long weekend of outdoor events where the weather was forecast to range from 85 degrees and very humid to 60 degrees and stormy. There were many similar canopies at the event, and all worked to some degree or other. However, this one was the easiest to set up and tear down. On the first day, the rain came in with a little wind. That afternoon the storm intensity increased dramatically and very quickly. At first, we tried lowering the canopies, and this one was a piece of cake compared to the others. Then, the storm really picked up and we decided to strip the covers and abandon the frames while taking cover. This was a good call as we later learned a tornado had touched down very near by. All the canopies were damaged to some degree. This one survived better than the others, and replacement parts were easy to find online. The only reason this is a 4 star instead of 5 star review is that the repair parts are bundled as complete assemblies which makes repairs easier, but also more expensive. I'd rather be able to buy individual parts as needed.
