This pump is good however a standard garden hose will not attach to it because the outlet is not the same thread as a garden hose. They look almost the same but no-go. Unfortunately I didn’t figure this out until I got the thing to my small island in the Bahamas so I will need to have one of my visitors bring an adapter. ... show more

I used this water pump strictly for transferring R.O. water to separate containers. It was used maybe half a dozen times before it no longer turned on when plugged in. I have reached out to their customer service for a possible replacement. They requested a video of it not working and sent 3 unknown attachments with Chinese symbols as the file name. The files would not open and the Amazon communication program will not allow my video to be sent. I tried explaining this, but the seller told me I will have to go through Amazon for a refund or replacement since I "will not open the links" they sent. The pump was great for the few times I used it, but the seller is clearly aware they are selling a defective product since they refuse to do anything about it when they were made aware; not to mention to make it seem like I'm being uncooperative due to THEIR files not opening for me. Spend the extra money and buy from a reputable company, not this one. ... show more

The attachments are made of such soft plastic that they strip out and water leaks. Had to use harder attachments for drainage hose. Luckily, I had them available. Pumped very quickly.

I think everyone who keeps an aquarium knows a pump helps so much with water changes. I have always used a small pump that took a while but I'm getting ready to upgrade to a much larger tank. This pump is very large compared to an aquarium pump, so keep that in mind before buying. But boy it is powerful, it drained my 150 aquarium by half in only a few minutes ... show more
