    • Great lights for the right location/purpose.
Color: Cold White Size: 4 Packs
None of these solar-charged lights put out a huge amount of light, so if that's what you're wanting/expecting, you should probably be looking for some other solution. However, if what you need is a basic, hassle-free light source in an outdoor area with no easy access to AC power, these are definitely what you want. For example, I'm in a new house with a long side yard that came with no exterior lights, and no pre-installed AC power sources. It's where the trash/recycling cans are stored, so I occasionally have to trudge out there in the dark (and it is DARK out there at night), so I needed an easy, "automatic" way to light up the area when I have to go out there after sunset. Installing a new power line for a motion-detecting flood light would be a PITA, and not worth the hassle/expense for my limited needs. These things are perfect for an application like this. They're small, but put out a lot of light for their size. They're neat/unobtrusive, and ridiculously easy to install. One little galvanized or stainless screw (not included with the lights) and you're in business. They also come with a two-sided adhesive foam pad if you prefer the "stick-on" approach, or don't want to put a screw in your mounting surface. They've got 3 different functions that are controlled/set with a little push-button on the front of the light. Low, stays "on" in darkness; bright, stays "on" in darkness, and bright "auto," that is, the light is off until it detects motion, then turns on and stays on until 10-15 seconds after it stops detecting motion. Point is, it's perfect under all conditions ... will light/go off automatically if you're just walking past, but it you're staying in one place and need it to stay on for more than 10-15 seconds, you just touch the button to activate one of the steady "on" functions, then put it back on "auto" when you're done. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. [August 2023 update: they've held up OK in harsh conditions (sub-freezing in winter, 90-105F heat in summer), but they do degrade within a year or two. 1 of the four started malfunctioning ... staying on all the time at night, unable to return to "auto-on/motion sensing" mode, so I just tossed all four and got a new set. One of the four in the NEW set started doing the same thing right out of the box, so I bought a SECOND new set to toss/replace the malfunctioning one and have three spares. I still like the lights; they're not very expensive, and I didn't want to bother with repacking/return/replacement of the whole set. So, I'm sticking with all my original comments, but you should consider these lights "disposable" ... you'll end up replacing them almost as frequently as standard LED bulb lights.] ... show more

    • Perfectly priced 4-pack!
Color: Cold White Size: 4 Packs
I appreciate that brightness and motion sensitivity these lights provide to alert when something, specifically, a skunk or two are roaming around our backyard. We live in an area where it's not uncommon to have the local wildlife walk through on their way to where ever. Perfectly priced and I love the 4 pack, gives me lots of placement options. I've used this brand for a while now and they last a long time. Good for winter months, even when it rains. I use them on a temporary fence, to keep my dogs out of the wildlife's high traffic area, twist out a couple large paperclips and they're portable! Great item with a great price, thank you! ... show more

    • Lasted 4 years. Decent during that time.
Color: Cold White Size: 4 Packs
They were fairly decent, to place on trees and poles along a path in the backyard going out to the garage. They would come on with every passing possum or raccoon or stray cat... showing them the way through the yard. They were decently bright enough for the purpose. Certainly not bright enough to 'hold events' or hang out in the yard or whatever. Just enough light to make a path not a stumbling obstacle course. Then last month they all started acting up. Flickering badly when they would come on. All of them had multiple dead LEDs, and they were just not performing well anymore. I cleaned them up, checking their internals, but nothing seemed to get them to stop being terrible. So, while 4 years is a short time or long time, depending on your point of view... they did work decently during the time I had them. Unsure if I want to buy another set or not for another 4 years though. On the fence. ... show more

    • Very bright, quick charging and may die in less than a year
Color: Cold White Size: 4 Packs
I just love these little lights. This was a pack of four so there was plenty to put on my house and on my front gate. They have multiple options for light brightness and color, and they really light up the road down by my gate. So far they seem to be very water resistant and they were very easy to put up, just one screw in the top or in the ones I put on my metal gate just a cable tie around the pipe. I really like them they meet my needs and light up the road at night. And I think they were a great deal at the price that I got them, if they last it will be even a better deal! UPDATE: over the last couple of weeks one of the lights quit working. Usually that means the compartment wasn't sealed well and water gets in and rusts the contacts. So they may be a decent price and they may be very bright but be prepared to lose some. I'm thinking this is just the first of the group to fail and more will follow. Haven't had them a year yet so I will update if more of them fail. ... show more

    • Super bright ! and great motion detection feature!
Color: Cold White Size: 4 Packs
I wanted these for my yard and i wanted the kid not to end up with an accident nor avoid the yard after its dark. The packaging was nice , i am surprised as how they don't have a battery tab on each of them when they were shipped. It must be glowing since it was dark inside the package. Now lets see how it makes sense to use these. They run on solar batteries that are charged during the day using the solar panels. I already have some Solar batteries i use for my lanterns in the front lawn. Just in case if they don't glow you can replace batteries and try them out. You must use (NiMH Rechargeable batteries) Coming back to the motion sensor lights , they come with adhesive pads as well screws to mount them. One switch to toggle between the low power medium power and brightest modes. Medium Mode - Stay on (This will be like a regular solar light wit will light up after dark and stay on all the time) Dim light -Sensor Mode(Lights up only after motion is detected but emits less light) - Can cater to stairs or other frequently used areas where the light comes in handy to help and can be used many times in a day since it emits low power light. Bright light -Sensor Mode is the one i use because the area is not frequently used but i need the brightness to see things clearly when in use. Mounting was hassle free , and the light is responsive and bright. I have used 2 in the back yard where they get sunlight throughout the day. I will update the review if any of them stop working or malfunctioning. Great for the price, i clipped a coupon from amazon and it was perfect for our house. ... show more
