Right out of the box, they look fantastic and feel very solid — definitely not cheap or flimsy like some others out there. Installation was straightforward and beginner-friendly. If you have basic tools like a socket and wrench, you can easily handle this yourself. From start to finish — including removing my factory running boards — it took me about an hour and 15 minutes. With a second person helping, this could easily be done in around 30 minutes. The packaging was also top-notch. Everything was well-protected, and there wasn’t a single scratch or dent on arrival. Amazed, every piece of hardware & bolts alined up perfectly. I did use my motorcycle floor jack to hold the running boards up so both hands were free. Plus, I think they look pretty good. I'd recommend them.

They fit perfectly on my 2016 Tacoma. Grip on entry was great. Simple to install. Very sturdy. Gives my truck a lot of character. They look awesome. Middle step makes reaching top of truck way easy

I was looking for something to make it easier for my wife to get into my truck, and also provide a little protection from car doors in the parking lots. I didn't need true rock sliders, so I thought I'd give these a shot. I was very pleased when I opened the box. Everything was well packaged and undamaged, even though the box looked like it had been handled roughly. The parts were well marked, so it was easy to figure out where everything was supposed to go. Often times, the hardware that comes with these things is noticeably poor quality, but this hardware was satisfactory. Seems like it will hold up pretty well. The coating on the bars looks like it was applied very well. The finish was consistent on all surfaces and there were no chips or scratches on anything. No drilling was required - everything attached using factory holes. It probably took me about 45 minutes to install by myself. I did not care for the red accents and was pleased to find them removeable. The red painted metal plates are each held on with two 10mm nuts, split washers and flat washers - they were easy to remove. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would buy this brand again. ... show more
