Great bike took it out for one ride so far and hit 21.7 mph , with a battery with half a charge and I weigh 220 pounds. This bike has good take off speed and torque ,I was not expecting that ,smooth ride ,good handling, my wife is 5’5” and she is able to sit on the bike with feet flat on the ground. I am 6 foot one and the seat post comes up so my feet can actually be on tiptoes good adjustment for tall people. Nice upright seated position ,comfortable seat, Mechanical brakes work well and charge time is quick. Brake rotor was slightly bent but I was able to bend it back by hand so the brakes were silent. The kickstand is mounted very far back which is perfect if you have big feet and you don’t wanna clip it on the kickstand. I like the walk mode capability just hold the minus button in the bike moves forward let go of the minus button and the bike stops. tire sidewalls felt thin but are holding 50 psi and you can’t expect too much for the low price of $407 with tax delivered to your door. Bike was delivered with no damage no scratches and the tires still have the Nubs on them ,definitely a brand new bike. ... show more

    • Hard to beat the price but don't expect perfection
For the price this is hard to beat, but there are flaws. It's built sturdy and my 6'4" frame fits nicely, love the front suspension and the disk brakes work well. Battery life is more than adequate for riding around town and flat gravel trails. My biggest issue is the pedal assist speeds and the gear ratios. The slowest speed #1 of 5 is 11mph, this is simply too fast for the slowest speed. It's faster than a typical leisurely peddling speed so you have to modulate the assist to not outpace standard bikes on flat roads. The gearing is also too low at least for my long legs. The fastest I can peddle and feel any resistance it #2, anything above that and I'm free wheeling. The #1 speed should be 8 mph and the gearing should be taller so one can add effort to speeds above #2. The other issue is the gear selectors. The numbers do not indicate the true gear many times and making a single gear change often does not change the gear. Sometimes when a gear is selected under light peddling it will often slip to another gear when effort applied. A larger front peddle gear would help add effort to the higher peddle asset setting and I'd love a firmware change that lowered the #1 speed to 8 mph to better keep pace to standard bikes. I'm not giving this 5 stars so no $10 gift for writing this review. ... show more

Beautiful bike, very surprised as to the overall build quality and performance. At first I was hesitant to buy such a cheap ebike due to the likelihood of it being a rip off or scam. After it arrived, weeks in advance mind you, the build was quite simple. After fully assembled I rode it for about 5 mins which obviously isn't a lot of time. Within that time though, it was just as advertised, petal assist, 5 speed modes and full throttle. I plan to ride it more as time goes on but all good as of right now. ... show more
