Im a first time above ground pool owner and I was told I would need a better pump, preferably a sand pump and so far I have had no issues and my water is crystal clear without me doing much. I have to thank this pump filter. So far it has surpassed my expectations.

This pump has been a lifesaver for our pool this year! Our old pump was junk compared to this beast!

I have an inground fountain that holds roughly 200 gallons of water. I bought this small pump to filter the water and keep it clean. This is my first time using ever using a sand pump. The directions aren’t fully clear on how to put it together. The picture on the directions is not the correct way for the pump to look. I knew it didn’t come with tubes so I bought about 20’ of tubes online for about $30 and used the hardware that came with the tubes to connect them to the pump and filter. The pressure gauge has not worked since I started using it. It takes about 24 hours for this pump to clear out my 200 gallon fountain. I bought the filter balls instead of sand and it seems to be working fine. When I turn it on for the first time in the day I have to wait an about 30-45 seconds before it actually starts sucking and filtering. Overall I’m happy with it but it could’ve been nice to have better more precise directions to put together and on how to use. I thought the size would’ve been too big for my fountain but since it takes an entire day to clear the water it seems just right.

First day it's been working fine The instructions didnt translate very well. It's chinglish. but the pictures are okay to follow. set up with the fuzzy blue pool poly balls, not sand. I haven't setup the backwash yet. The flow is absolutely incredible compared to the previous filter

The pump only worked a month. Not good quality to use everyday. I tried to reach out but they wouldn’t answer the help chat to see if I was able to return. Really sucks being hot for another month and can’t use the pool until I purchase a new one 😢
