There is no motion sensor on these lights. The dusk to dawn works well. I use these inside an industrial building by the shop entrance and exit doors. When I enter I use a switch to turn on the light, it is nice and bright and allows me to see 150 feet to walk to the rear of the building to turn on the main lights. Easy to install and mount.     • A Great Porch/Garage Light.. Poorly Sealed.

The one sheet of instructions said remove this remove that (easy) and punch out the holes you need. 1. Solid Metal, don't try punching the areas you want. You have to drill them out. I had to youtube to find this out after a hammer and screw driver did nothing. 2. There is a rubber ring around this to seal the unit against water seeping in. This fell off in 2 seconds. Me, I am lucky my light is protected by an overhand. The light once installed is a very nice not to bright, not to dull very nice lighting effect. One thing I didn't like is I was simply replacing an older light with the round mounting box you see on most lights. This was awkward as other lights I put on my outdoor of my house all fit nicely. This light screw holes didn't link up with my setup. I had to rig it differently . That all said, in the end I love this light. ... show more

I needed to replace some outdated and non functional lights on some out buildings. These lights were easy to install and with the built in sensor, kick on when it gets dark. These lights are very bright and maintenance free.

. . .the silicone gasket WILL become dislodged during installation. Plan on using some silicone caulk to attach it to the lens prior to installation. That should be done a few hours in advance of installation. Otherwise, these are great lights that are easy to install.
