Does the outdoor camera S1 need a cloud subscription to function? No. You can use app alerts, an SD card (not included), or choose our optional cloud plan. Any of these three options works. Why does the app show picture alerts instead of video alerts? You can switch between picture and video alerts in the app under Motion Alert settings. Do the wireless outdoor security cameras only work with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi? Yes, only 2.4GHz is supported. If you're using a dual-band router, temporarily turn off the 5GHz band during setup to prevent connection issues. Can the S1 security camera record all the time? No. To save battery, S1 only records when motion is detected and stays in standby mode when there's no movement. Why is there a rainbow stripe on my camera's live view screen? These cameras are super easy to power on and set up once you download the app to your device. I placed them in the sun once they arrived, and I unboxed them. I planned out where each one would go and then added them to the app and my Wi-Fi. From there, it's really easy to mount them with all of the provided hardware and brackets. They even give you a peel-and-stick template for the brackets so you can easily pre-drill into the mounting surface. In my case, it was a mix of vinyl siding and aluminum on the carport. The picture quality is really amazing, especially when you consider the really low price for these cameras. I really like that the solar panel is integrated so there is no needed wiring or additional brackets for a separate solar panel. One of the cameras ended up in partial shade but it stays charged through the day and into the night. There's only been once it didn't make it until morning but I think there were a lot of motion alerts and a cloudy day. Otherwise, these are showing as 90% battery or fully charged most of the time. We already have experience with the Wansview camera app with a different set of indoor cameras so it was easy to add the new cameras to the flow. There is a subscription service you can sign up for that provides cloud storage but I installed SD cards in each camera behind the weatherproof cover which allows for local clip storage and access via the app. The only negative I would give these cameras is that they sometimes drop connection or go offline and they do not pick up every motion in their field of vision - possibly due to connectivity issues. However, I do not see a reason to drop a star on the rating because I have friends with very expensive name-brand cameras that have the same issues. These are very affordable and seem high-quality in terms of build and picture quality. They've already been through several torrential rainstorms and still perform great. Time will tell how they hold up, but in reality, for the value and features, if these make it a couple years I would be more than satisfied.

I was searching for a simple surveillance system that would monitor my driveway and offer local storage without requiring monthly fees or membership programs. With this set, in just a few minutes, I was able to install all four cameras thanks to the user-friendly mobile app. First thing first, the video quality is impressive, delivering sharp 2K (3 MP) resolution during the day along with the full-color night vision after dark. Next, the integrated solar panels keep the cameras charged throughout the day and night, so I never have to worry about battery life. Additionally, I value the clear microphone and speaker, two-way communication, and digital zoom, which are helpful for interacting with delivery drivers or monitoring activity in my driveway while I'm away. Motion alerts arrive promptly, whether I'm at home or traveling, giving me confidence that I'm always aware of what's going on in my driveway. One of my favorite features is the built-in solar charging system. Since there are no external power cables, installation is much simpler, the cameras are easy to reposition if needed, and there's no risk of damaged wiring from weather or rodents. Will be returning. These are not the cameras you are looking for. The movement records too late and often misses a lot of activity and movement. Ex cars leaving the driveway it gets them when they are just about to exit the frame. It misses the pull in back out. Very odd. Glitches. And require service is for the parts of the movement video that you need. It’s designed to get you to purchase the plan then you can see the full movement recording. 70 a year for only 3 cameras..it comes w 4. Or 170 a year for 5 cameras. This cheap camera system is only good if you purchase the plan. I We had better recordings with Arlo. We picked these yes for the cheap price and solar but on a sunny Texas no cloud day the solar has gone from 85-65 percent in 7 hours so there is no way it’s going to be fully charged for the night. Again it’s a waste unless you are purchasing the 170 a year plan. It’s like signing up for a service and getting the cameras free, except I’m not impressed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Wireless Security Cameras With True Set-and-Forget Convenience I’ve been using this 4-pack of Cinnado S1 3MP 2K wireless security cameras and have been very impressed with both the cameras and the app. The setup process was incredibly simple. The app walks you through everything, and within minutes I had all four cameras connected and working. One feature I really like is being able to view all of my cameras on a single screen, making it easy to keep an eye on everything at once. The built-in solar panel is one of the biggest advantages of these cameras. Since the panel is integrated into the top of each unit, there are no extra wires or separate solar panels to mount. As long as the camera receives some sunlight during the day, I’ve had no issues keeping the batteries charged through both day and night. Another feature worth mentioning is the ability to install a microSD card directly into each camera for local backup recording. I highly recommend adding one if you want additional storage and peace of mind. The package includes adjustable 4-hole mounting brackets, mounting screws, and even a mounting template, which makes installation quick and straightforward. What really stands out to me is that these cameras are truly 100% wireless. Once installed, they are essentially set-and-forget devices, which is exactly what I was looking for. One thing to consider before purchasing is the placement location. Since the solar panel is built into the top of the camera, you’ll want to make sure it isn’t blocked by an overhang, tree branches, or anything else that could limit sunlight exposure. I’ve also noticed that the software has improved significantly over the years with updates that seem to have increased stability and reliability. So far, the cameras have been trouble-free and have performed exactly as expected. Overall, if you’re looking for an easy-to-install, fully wireless security camera system with good video quality, local storage options, and reliable solar charging, this 4-pack is an excellent value.

I bought this 4-pack of solar wireless home security cameras to cover the front, back, and sides of my house. Setting them up was pretty easy since they're fully wireless with no cables to run. The mounting brackets worked fine, and the solar panels keep the batteries charged well as long as they get some sun. The daytime video looks clear enough to catch details like faces or license plates from a decent distance. Night vision is okay but not as sharp. Motion alerts come through quickly on my phone, and I can set zones to cut down on false notifications from cars or leaves. The two-way audio lets me talk to people at the door, which is handy. So far they've held up fine in rain and heat. The app lets me check live views from all four cameras and review clips. I use the SD cards for storage and it's been mostly reliable.

I don’t have much to add to the comments of other reviewers. This is a good budget camera – good picture quality, good sound, adequate microphone, good battery. I view these cameras on a PC so I need at least a good quality picture. I had one camera in a partially shaded area for several cloudy days. The camera lost power but recharged when the sun came back out. I prefer cameras that I can rotate but this increases the cost. The field of view of these cameras helps to a degree. I don’t understand the comment of one reviewer that a subscription is required to view the cameras on an Android phone. I downloaded the program from the company website onto my iPhone 8 and it works well.

Overall it works. It will lag. Infrared and night vision doesn’t work all the time. And the cameras sometimes struggle to connect to WiFi. My network is not the issue. I have a strong signal and plenty of bandwidth distributed appropriately. If you are looking for a long term 5+ year security, this is mostly likely not for you. I’m in month 2 and I’m experiencing problems I shouldn’t have until year 2!
