I probably made the mistake in ordering, thinking it was a Nespresso. It is not. So I sent it back after trying to put an original pod in, didn't fit, that was enough for me...boxed it up and returned it.

I work at a local kitchen store that sells both the Nespresso original line machines and the vertuo plus line. Even with my employee discount, though, it was still more than I wanted to spend. I found this one and the price point seemed great. The reviews also seemed decent. After comparison, I will say this one doesn’t differ in the quality of brew you get from the original machines (I’ve tasted both). Also, it is just as easy to use and clean (occasionally use a descaler). You still get that lovely crema/froth on top and it makes a lovely espresso at the push of a button. The only con I have is that with the Nespresso Pixie and their other original line machines, I could fit a slightly taller double-espresso cup underneath. It was more adjustable/versatile in that regard. With this one I have to actually slide the bottom part out temporarily if I want to put my double-shot glass under it. A standard espresso cup should be fine, though. I do expect that this one may not last quite so long as the Breville-brand ones Nespresso has been putting out, but for the price point I feel like this one is a steal.

The machine works fine, a little drippy from the spout after the coffee is made but nothing terrible. It's significantly cheaper than a Nespresso machine (I've had 3 of those in the last 8 years) which break down too. This one sprung a huge leak so I sent an email to customer support with pictures and videos. They responded in less than 2 hours and sent me a new machine! SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE. if you don't want to pay $200 for a Nespresso machine, definitely give this one a try.

Machine was unable to maintain variable cup sizes despite many attempts to follow the instructions which were terribly written . The instructions appear to be written in China and then google translated to english...much context is lost doing this

The media could not be loaded. Overall, it’s a good quality coffee machine, very straightforward. easy to use, easy to clean. Only take 10s to make a cup. It has two options based on water amount. This machine use Nespresso capsule only which makes me feel nervous at beginning but I find there are more choices than I thought after searching for same capsule standard, there are several other brand has same capsule size which could be used with this machine. I would say highly recommend and quite good.
