Overall I love the quality and fit of the coat. I am 5’-2” and ordered a small. The length and fit is great. But I ordered the padded lining version one (not sure why) and it doesn’t hang nicely. The bottom flares out rather than hangs straight which bothers me. Maybe the coats with other linings would be more relaxed. I also find it to be too warm, again, maybe because of the padded lining. I was very surprised when I got this coat. It is actually much heavier than I thought it would be. Most trench coats I've had were very light weight. This coat is very comfortable. So I was really on the fence about whether or not I was going to keep this coat. I'm 5'4" and 165lbs and usually where a large or xl if it's very fitted, so I ordered this coat in an extra large to be safe. It fit sort of. It was tight across my chest (I'd consider myself moderately busy at a 40C) but had lots of extra fabric that puffed out like a pillow on my back. The coat is well made, quite warm, and truly water repellent (I put my whole arm under the faucet, and the water ran off like a duck's feathers.) So I considered ordering a 2X, in the hopes that it wouldn't be quite so tight. But I decided to order a similar coat from Kohl's instead in the hopes that it would fit my body type better. Another issue with the coat I received (though I'm sure it was a manufacturing mistake and they aren't all like this) was that the back belt loop was sewn on several inches below the side belt loops even though the picture shows them all being lined up. Running the belt through the back loop made the pillowing in the back so much worse. I think if you're a ruler/straight body type this coat will suit you fine, but if you're an hourglass, pear, or very busty it won't fit you well. ... show more
