The fabric cover is great if no wind. Even the smallest breeze twisted and was constant pain I finally bought twenty clamps pulled it together all down one side .I also had to buy flat bunnies to stretch across top to somewhat hold it down from breeze.

Wow! I bought it at the right time, it’s gone up $200 and I just put it up last night. But, I think I’ve had time to use it enough, I’ve been playing with it and moving it around. I have it on my back porch to get some shade on it and my sliding glass doors which, without the shade, heats the whole house seems like. For the wind issue, I actually have the side against my house down all the way, untied and just the roof part up and tied and it seems to be doing just fine on this moderately windy Indy day - and giving the shade I need! It’s easy the separate the bar, so taking it down for the rain isn’t going to be a problem. I even saw one review saying to find a replacement cover would be hard but I don’t think so. You just need one long enough that has a seem for the bar on the ends. Also, I have it pulled out about a foot from my house so I can still get in and out, especially with it not being secured on that side and it also seems to be allowing it to sway in the wind which is keeping the top in place. I have lawn chairs on the inside of the tent to keep the free side from getting too crazy. All in all, it is what I wanted - but only because it was $200 cheaper!! ... show more

I’ve had this for over a year in Chicago weather. We have some intense summers and winters. It has held up perfectly well. Even during storms and extreme wind, it has not moved and endured. It was well worth the money! We don’t use the shade it came with as it doesn’t allow much air flow but it is a thick and sturdy material. We use a different cover but it is large enough to where we have it covered in lights so it looks beautiful at night. It’s a nice place to hang out under and provides us privacy from our neighbors. I was honestly worried about this purchase but I have no regrets. There isn’t even any rust from the rain and snow! ... show more

The top does not stay on at all! It was such a waste of money! I had to reaort to zip ting it on as it will not stay on. With wind or rain at all it is a total joke

This was a perfect addition to our RV in Arizona. When it gets windy we just adjust the canvas to one side, remove the bottom bars and secure the panels with bungees to the legs. If it gets super windy (25+ mph) it is a quick job to simply remove the canvas. 2 of us (seniors) put it together in 1 hour! Perfect for us and a reasonable price. ... show more

Loved it until we got our first windy day after we got it set up. I thought I'd be smart and add grommets and weave a cable through for the sake of saving having to take the tarps off every day that it got windy. Needless to say, that didn't work. One of the weight poles snapped in half and all the ties have ripped off. I would purchase a new set of tarps and 1 weight pole if they had them available. However, I'd do things a little different. Maybe they could design the tarps with some slices and reinforced like a button hole for the wind. I would also, add more ties to the edges to help keep it from whipping in the wind. ... show more
