Ordered four of these stools. Very surprised by the quality since I had assumed there would be tradeoffs with the low price. Overall very sturdy and comfortable. Has a deep seat cushion unlike most other stools. Easy to assemble (as these things go) with clear directions and individually market pieces. Also shout out to customer service. I'd been sporadically shopping for a set of barstools over the year I've now lived here. I needed them to be on the Mid Century Mod spectrum to best coordinate with my other wooden furniture. I had absolutely no luck at any brick & mortar furniture store. Nothing was right. Plus, it can be hard to find bar-height stools, as counter-height is more prevalent. Another requirement was that they be inexpensive, because I will likely leave them here when I next move. Well, these fit the bill on both style & cost! FedEx shipping took under a week. The stools were well-packed. The seat is together, but you have to bolt on the legs and screw in the stretchers. Easy enough for one strong adult. All hardware is included. You only need a screwdriver. As I do NOT own power tools, each stool took me c. 40 min. to assemble. These stools are quite large, seat-wise, and they seem sturdy. The color of the wood is lighter than seller's photos. I was hoping for closer to a light shade of walnut, but they fit in here nonetheless. I got the charcoal fabric, because my preferred black was not an option. Truly a "Great Deal"!! I'm very pleased. ... show more

Very pretty. Only issue was wood grain on back was very different. They can in a set so I was surprised at that. A little difference I could understand but they were way off in grain. Also be aware that they are very large. Not just bar height, the seats themselves are large. Perfect for larger people and surprisingly comfortable ... show more

Love everything about these. Can’t believe they were priced this low. I some people have said the cross legs did not reach but we were able to manipulate the legs to make sure they fit with no real issues at all. Just have to make sure the bolts are loose and you may have to push on both ends to get them to come together as you put the screws in. So easy to put together! ... show more

I love the look of these chairs. They are very much my style. However, I received the first box (2 chairs) today and there are missing parts (3 stretchers instead of the needed 8 stretchers), some of the hardware (washers) are clearly used and even bent and there were no instructions. I really want to love these chairs and give an awesome review, but right now I am simply disappointed, frustrated, and angry. Amazon was great at helping. Great product- well made and easily to assemble. Very attractive and comfortable. My only “heads up” is that they are LARGE barstools. In height and width. Although they measure top to bottom same height as my old ones, the legs are longer on these, so the chair is positioned higher and closer to the actual breakfast bar.
