Assembly was easy--align the back with the mechanism in the seat and push down, then add the feet. The chairs are just the right scale for the small room yet offer the comfort of a recliner. I'm not sure the arms would stand up to active children, but this home is used by people over 55 and for a fraction of the year, so I expect they will last for as long as needed. Arrived early which was nice but no one was there that day. Very easy to put together. Perfect size for the under 5’8” crowd of healthy weight. The over 6’ crowd says they are comfortable too but the do look like giants in these modern low profile chairs. Very happy with the value. The fabric is a bit clingy to random fuzz. The chairs are beautiful and stylish. They are built well and the fabric is durable and soft. They are a smaller recliner, which is what I needed for my space. My only issues with the chair is that it’s not very comfortable for long periods of time and most importantly, it doesn’t lock in place when reclining as far back as it goes. It only locks in at one slightly reclined position. I bought two identical chairs so I don’t feel that is a defect since both operate identically. Overall, I like the chairs, but will be get something better later that locks in fully reclined position. ... show more
