Was hoping to replace old recliners with these more contemporary styled one. The back is too short for comfortable reclining so I am using as reading chairs instead of tv watching ones. They are functional. They are pretty. They are not worth what I paid for them. The back on one of the chairs is wobbly. There is a strong odor from them that is taking forever to dissipate. I am hoping they make it 6 months.

Assembly was easy--align the back with the mechanism in the seat and push down, then add the feet. The chairs are just the right scale for the small room yet offer the comfort of a recliner. I'm not sure the arms would stand up to active children, but this home is used by people over 55 and for a fraction of the year, so I expect they will last for as long as needed. Overall a decent looking chair but definitely more grey in color and NOT “wheat”. The ad looks like these are on the beige spectrum and they are not. Second, when you recline there is no support for your head if you’re more than 5’7” (because the height of the back of the chair is too short). Unfortunately not what I was expecting but if you are hoping for grey tones and you are shorter, these are a good buy. ... show more
