I wanted to love this bed frame. Velvet feels nice. Nothing more disheartening when you receive an item this heavy and large and assembly is impossible because major pieces are missing. This will be a major headache to return.

Bought it even though there were no reviews—glad I trusted the process! Assembly isn’t too difficult, but it does take some time. Make sure you have plenty of space to lay out all the parts while building. Really happy with the final result! Looks great!

4 or 5 stars depending on your expectations and familiarity with similar items. For me, this is for a seldomly used guest room that previously had an inflatable mattress on the floor. Perfectly useable, perfectly portable, and perfectly … bed on the floor situation. I did not want “big furniture” but I wanted something more than bed-on-the-floor for occasional guests. This fit the bill perfectly. Has all the look and feel of a “real bed” but is not a giant structure that takes a semi-permanent installation. Compared to “legacy” furniture, this is a light-weight minimalist structure. It’s delivered in a flat-pack cardboard box and about 70 pounds. It’s a queen size bed frame; it should have some mass. If you hate assembly … you may need to take some tranquilizers. It’s not hard, but there are a lot of parts in the box 😉 OK, once done … pretty ridgid and supportive but the 800 lb rating is pretty low compared to many other bed frames. This is sturdy enough for any average weight load but don’t go crazy. The headboard is very streamlined / squared-off which may or may-not fit your taste / decor; look at the photos. The design accents are linear on the sides to create a feeling of height so the overall design lends to rectangular wall accents. Overall, for a bed frame and headboard delivered in a compact box this is pretty reasonable at this price point. I don’t think it excels in any way to warrant 5 stars but portability + functionality + price point is somewhat above average and worth 4 stars.
