Shortly after I put the furniture together, the arm rest of one of the benches started splintering off. As you can see this is a major problem as someone could cut their hand on it . I contacted the manufacturer and they advised me to contact Amazon . When I contacted Amazon I got terrible customer service, they refused to do anything about it , told me to contact the manufacturer. When I told her that I did she said I contacted the wrong manufacturer but wouldn’t give me the correct information. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 20 minutes until I hung up . At first I was really pleased with this set. It looked cute and fit me well (I’m 5’2”). On the other hand, my husband was not a fan with the set since day 1 because he’s 6’4” and it’s pretty small for him. He sits on one of the chairs and it’s so low for him that his knees come up high. The cushions are also very thin (less than 1” thick) which makes them very easy to store to keep them out of the weather, but doesn’t help with the comfort level of the furniture. Unfortunately the wood furniture hasn’t held up. Attached are photos from when it first got set up in June 2019 and then what it looked like in November 2019. I’m really disappointed with how much they’ve deteriorated in about 6 months. ... show more

    • Decent Set For The Price, NEED TO SEAL WOOD BEFORE ASSEMBLY!
You get what you are paying for here. The quality is about right for the price. You really do NEED to apply polyurethane, or Thompson's Wood Sealer ASAP for the wood will dry out and get rough and brittle quickly. I used Thompson's on mine after a month passed and the wood was really getting damaged by the Arizona sun already. It would have been easier if it was done before I put them together though. They don't tell you this is needed, but it started cracking after a month and the wood got really rough and dry so fast. Get a gallon of Wood Seal and you'll be glad you did it before assembly to make it easier. Then the finish feel much better! I used a rag with rubber gloves to apply since it was easier than a brush. Definitely need to keep kids from tilting back on the tiny legs as well. ... show more

Thank you! An awesome patio set for a TERRIFICALLY LOW price! I have a big family and was looking for something to seat 6-8 people. This is absolutely a dream come true. My patio is 11x21 and all of the pieces fit perfectly with room to spare! The assembly was a breeze, instructions simple, all pieces intact. Each item is relatively light to move around the patio. Assembly was easy (about an hour for an 8pc set). I purchased the 8 piece for around $900. After using this patio set under a patio awning for four months I will give my honest review. When we first got the set, we were extremely happy with the purchase, but only after one month the cushions began looking dirty. The cushions are very light in color (a very bad design idea) We tried upholstery cleaner and even washing them, but after normal wear they are very dirty looking and will not get clean. We are going to have to replace every cushion on these sets, which will probably be pretty expensive. Given the price of this patio set I cannot recommend. If the cushions were darker, then maybe. Even with a different color, it would be hard to justify the price. The chairs are not very comfortable. Cushions are very thin. Also, the wood very easily stains. DO NOT leave a drink on this table without a coaster. You will be sorry. I definitely would not leave this patio set outside to the elements. I don't think it would look nice for very long. I have had this set for four months now and it looks awful. ... show more

    • Great Set but Thin Cushions and Weather Sensitive
We got the 8 piece set and it is exactly as pictured in terms of looks which was great. It was super easy to assemble. Just a little time consuming with 8 pieces to do. I feel like its pretty sturdy and wont have integrity issues over time in terms of breaking down. The cushions are a tad on the thin side so i would anticipate having to buy thicker seat cushions at least. The back rest ones don't bother me but after sitting for a while your bum gets uncomfortable with the thin seat cushion. Also, they do appear to be fairly water resistant but we pull up the cushions in the rain just in case. *Disclaimer that i live in Western Oregon where the weather is very wet* I dont see this lasting through weather very well. We have only had it about a month (during a not super rainy time of the wear) and i am already seeing signs of water wear. We did end up spraying a coat of Scotch Guard over it to see if that helps but i would just wish to see outdoor furniture be better protected, even a this discounted price. We will likely end up buying a cover for it. I can also see it getting sun stained due to the lack of protective coating on top. I will update this review if we experience more on this topic. Lastly, the price on this bad boy varies GREATLY! Within 2 weeks of us purchasing this it had gone down over $100 on Amazon. They do not offer price matching so this was a blow to the wallet to see. ... show more
